"Ramsay Street won't be the same without you, jellybelly"
skteosk18 June 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Genuinely the end of an era as Harold bids his farewell.Admittedly, it's not the first time he's left but even if you just go by his current stint he's still one of the longest serving characters and a genuine Neighbours icon.He is given the fitting send off he deserves, as the whole of Ramsay Street(or at least all the ones that are in the episode)line up to perform a guard of honour, along with his friends from the Salvation Army. And as an added bonus, he even takes Valda with him.

Aside from some odd lapses of logic(Declan claiming he's owning up when in fact Dan and Libby caught him out and night falling really quickly if Marco and Carmella only take an hour to get to Harold's), the rest of the episode lives up to the promise, with everyone getting confused over who Ringo and Declan are interested in, Frazer and Dan's quick dismissal of Ringo's excuses, Zeke teasing Taylah over her disastrous matchmaking, Ty once again doing absolutely nothing and an abrupt change of heart from Oliver-although unfortunately not a large enough change. And at the heart of it all is the enduring friendship between Lou and Harold, one that as Lou points out doesn't need words but has it anyway.

Enjoy it while it lasts because the show is going to be the poorer without him.
