The Bracket (#3.14)

Warning: Spoilers
In this episode we go with Barney to figure out which of his previous women is walking around and saying that he is a bad guy who just wants to get a woman into bed.

They do it pretty funny. The scene with the blackboard is pretty good and it gets better when he goes with Lily trying to find the woman out of the top 4 who have a big reason to be mad at him. The moment when the girl jumps at him is pretty good.

The finale is also great. It was fun to see Robin work with Barney. She had a great idea and I am very curious what he whispered to her. With the way the show goes I hope we will one day find out. Just as we know we will find out who that woman who talks about him is. Like it how they make it a mystery as well.

Neil Patrick Harris Prominent Again In Seasons Best Episode So Far
slightlymad2217 December 2014
Plot In A Paragraph: Barney has been trying to pick up women as usual, and as usual things are initially going well with his plays, but if he steps away for a few seconds he returns for the woman to give him a slap across the face. He finds out what's going on when seen with Barney, Lily is approached by a woman telling her that Barney is a lying cheat that will say and do whatever just to get into her pants. As the woman Lily describes could be a number of the women that Barney has slept with then abandoned, Barney has to figure out who she is, but only Lily knows what she looks like.

Neil Patrick Harris is an absolute delight here, I seem to right that almost every episode of late, he has been the best character in this show for several episodes in a row now. I love him, I think he is fantastic.

I like the bit where they didn't even know their team was playing

Why this show is so IMDb-censoring awesome.

If you pause at a certain moment when Barney's going through pictures in his head, for a split-second there's a picture of Madeleine Albright among the others (referring to a joke from a previous episode).

The fact that this series never forgets anyone or anything, that everything (well, everyone goofs) is so meticulously planned. Wow. SIMPLY AMAZING!

(Oops, did I just double that? My bad...)

A fine episode. Almost gave a 6, but I was in a generous mood.

Awesome idea. Typical HIMYM. Unique interesting idea that just isn't completely satisfying. Great set up, but the punch line just doesn't deliver the knock out punch.

It could just be me...but good lord, both female lead actresses are just terrible. Some episodes it's more apparent than others. You can see them acting. I see the actors rather than the characters.

Something that could be really awesome...it's not

Warning: Spoilers
this episode could be really well done if the actual girl who had been jerking with him was karma... and it would make way much more sense, since the character played by Britney spears has long hair, and QUIN the stripper called KARMA, whom he's going to date in the future has curly hair and as it is said here, in the beginning of the episode lilly says to barney if might be karma, and he says that karma is a tripper and they are good..I mean, was this just to play with our minds? Or they just forgot about this episode? Because believe-me it would have been way much more awesome if this was played just like this... come on, the other girl didn't even had curly hair, and the mystery it was not so cool afterwards
