First of three early-1950s animated sales films produced by UPA for CBS Radio, followed by It's Time for Everybody (1953) and Tune in Tomorrow (1954).
On his audio commentary to the later UPA/CBS Radio sales film Tune in Tomorrow (1954), animation scholar Amid Amidi claims that, while "More Than Meets the Eye" was "conceived and designed" by John Hubley, the film was directed by William T. Hurtz.
