Finally people seem to be learning lessons as Susan works out a way to deal with Rachel(with a bit of help from Libby)and Libby realises how she should be treating Ben(via a few home truths from Steph-although she ruins it later by apologising). The scene where Ben gives Sam his Hero medal, with Libby and Dan not minding a bit, is a nice sweet moment. The explanation of Charlie's whereabouts is lame beyond belief though, relying on Libby and Steph wandering the streets calling for him without bothering to search the house first.
Aside from resurrecting a storyline that we all thought was dead and buried, the episode's main contribution is to present us with a sudden possible reconciliation between Dan and Sam.Not quite as sudden as Sam's decision to leave town but it all gives the impression that someone somewhere hasn't quite got a handle on the series.
