This leads to the brilliant visual gag of Lou, Steve and Riley all sticking cotton wool in their ears but Steve's criticism of Rebecca seems to turn him into the ultimate try-hard dad.Talking of try hards, Libby's ridiculously unsubtle attempt to impress Dan falls flat on its face when Sam turns up and by this stage you're almost glad.
In the midst of Zeke defending Rachel from one of Susan's interminable lectures, we get two very odd moments:Oliver going all Iago on Steph and Rebecca reminding Declan he's grounded whilst he sits with his friends in a licensed premises.Still, the boys really should have realised not everyone was going to be happy with another restaurant opening up.
