It's safe to say, nobody has done a maternity photo shoot like this before!
On Sunday, Chrissy Teigen shared some photos of herself in a white monokini cradling her baby bump. In the images, the pregnant model is seated on a butcher block alongside a pineapple and a raw piece of pork. "When you tag pork but not your photographer," she quipped in one of the Instagram captions.
Teigen's husband, John Legend, also joined her for one of the sillier photos, and is seen seated behind her in swim trunks and a summer shirt with his hands on his wife's stomach.
After the photo shoot, Teigen's mother, Vilailuck, expertly cut up the pineapple, which led her daughter to write: "Go mom!"
Meanwhile on Legend's Instagram, he posted an adorable video of a father-daughter moment he shared with 1-year-old Luna.
In the black-and-white video, the 38-year-old R&B singer is seen adorably dancing with his little girl. "[link...

When some phrases pass through the prism of Twin Peaks, you can never hear them the same way again. "Damn good coffee" is one; "Gotta light?" is another. We'll submit a third candidate, one that the just-concluded third season of David Lynch and Mark Frost's supernatural murder-mystery masterpiece has marked for permanent retirement from the critical vocabulary: "Like nothing else on television." The TV landscape remains full of singular, spectacular shows, Peak TV fatigue be damned. But just as the original Twin Peaks inspired visionary showrunners from David Chase...

Netflix first made a name for itself with dramas such as “House of Cards,” “Hemlock Grove” and “Orange is the New Black” (which, despite its initial insistence to the contrary, was indeed a drama). But comedy wasn’t far behind. The streaming giant first got into the comedy game in 2013 with the “Arrested Development” revival, and by 2015, premiered signature shows like “Master of None” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”
Befitting its desire to offer something for everyone, Netflix has quickly cast a wide comedy net — dark comedy, multi-camera shows shot in front of a studio audience and absurdist humor, among other variations. The best original series from the streaming giant evoke more than just a few chuckles, to be sure. They share insights into the world we all share and offer various perspectives from around the globe. They tell exciting, addictive, and yup, sometimes even alarming stories that will surprise.

If someone found a TV network willing to give them 18 hours of original programming all under their domain, it makes sense that person would want to bring a bunch of their favorite bands along with them.
Over the run of “Twin Peaks: The Return,” David Lynch has used the close of every episode as a showcase for past collaborators. Some of these acts have been household names – who could forget Nine Inch Nails rounding out the infamous Part 8 – while others have been more under-the-radar favorites.
These are artists that not only fit thematically with each individual episode, but also hew close to Lynch’s personal fandoms. The Peabody award-winning The Leftovers concludes on Sunday, June 4 and through its three seasons, the show has become just as acclaimed for its music as its incredible story, writing and acting.
While the HBO series is no stranger to change (season one's opening titles used an original piece by composer Max Richter, and season two used Iris DeMent's "Let the Mystery Be"), season three has gone even further, adapting the theme song to each episode. "[It was showrunner] Damon Lindelof's decision," music supervisor Liza Richardson tells Et by phone, adding that the music choices on the series vary between her and Lindelof's allegiance to certain artists, love of repetition and the desire to "surprise."

Nobody said surviving a zombie apocalypse was going to be a walk in the park, but this is just sadistic. The video above, first posted by appropriately named YouTuber ‘Wacky Weirdo’ in September 2016, compiles all the imagined deaths in Rick’s dream sequence from The Walking Dead‘s season 7 premiere. These all come courtesy of a baseball bat to the noggin, which causes a fountain of blood to cascade from each character’s head.
Pretty much every major player in the show gets a thorough bonking, the full lineup being Chandler Riggs, Ross Marquand, Josh McDermitt, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Sonequa Martin-Green and Christian Serratos. If you’ll cast your minds back to late 2016, you’ll remember it being particular bloodthirsty, with Abraham and Glenn both receiving a cruel serving of Negan’s barbed wire n’ baseball bat powered fury. Even by The Walking Dead standards, the scene was pretty gross.

It has been a busy year for actress-director-author Amber Tamblyn. She’s released her feature directorial debut, is starring in a play and just gave birth to her first child.
At 34, Tamblyn is more than used to juggling a personal life and a professional one. She’s been working for over two decades, beginning with General Hospital and then becoming a household face as Joan on the CBS drama Joan of Arcadia before playing Tibby in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. But it’s this new job that’s completely unique to her.
“To have my first Mother's Day as a mother is just wild,” says Tamblyn, who married actor David Cross in 2012. And since her self-ascribed motto is “Never mind, I’ll do it” -- also the same name as her production company -- she’ll most likely be taking to her new and busier schedule as mother, writer, director...

Imagine just strolling through a train station, getting ready to hop on a car and maybe fall asleep or have a Bloody Mary, when all of a sudden you hear the sweet, sweet sounds of John Legend crooning the song you probably danced to at your wedding or at least cried to after a breakup. That's what happened to passengers at London's St. Pancras Station on Wednesday, when they stumbled upon the singer at a randomly placed piano, belting out his hit songs "Ordinary People," "Surefire," and "All of Me." The smiles were few and far between.
There is so much hurt and betrayal circulating on The Fosters Season 4 Episode 17. Just about every member of the Foster clan is in dire need of a hug.
There were some good things that happened during the installment, too.
Human trafficking is one of those hot button issues that we're fortunately becoming more and more aware of these days. Especially, if you live in one of the hot areas where it's prevalent and on the rise.
That's something I can relate to, and obviously the Adams-Foster family residing in California, means that Stef would encounter it too. Her first case on her first day at her new job was one involving a teen sex worker by the name of Diamond.
It can't possibly be the first time in Stef's long career as a cop, that she encountered a sex worker, let alone one who is a teenager.

Were we supposed to view this episode as personal growth for many of the Fosters' clan?
It was a solid episode, and we finally got some of the things that we had been waiting on. Mariana finally went to see a therapist. Old Brandon showed up. We were given confirmation on the pregnancy situation with Emma.
Despite all of that, The Fosters Season 4 Episode 14 just fell flat.
There is a lot happening on the show, as is the nature of the show. There's never a dull moment for this family, and the level of angst is enough to give the calmest, coolest, most collected person, severe anxiety.
I've said it before, caring for this family is stressful, especially when they tend to make the same mistakes over and over again and repeat the same sort of patterns.
Take Callie, for example. There was no way on Earth she was going...

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are no strangers to showing Pda, and things got steamy between the couple on the Grammys red carpet in La on Sunday. While posing for photos, Chrissy put some sexy moves on display for her man, who danced behind her for a bit before letting out a laugh. Chrissy clearly had fun during their parents' night out, as evidenced by the hilarious drunk Snapchats she posted after getting home from the award show; in one clip, Chrissy asks John for help taking off her jewelry, cooing, "Are you mad at me?" John, the world's perfect husband, lovingly replies, "Why would I be mad at you? You're perfect." Yeah, we can't with them. Fans of Christina Grimmie, the YouTube songstress who was tragically killed at a meet-and-greet last June, were shocked and disappointed yesterday evening when she was not commemorated during the In Memoriam tribute at the 59th Grammy Awards.
Though she was featured in a list on the Recording Academy's website featuring artists and other music industry luminaries lost last year, reports Entertainment Weekly, Grimmie’s photo was not showcased during the live telecast, when John Legend and Broadway actress Cynthia Erivo performed a duet of The Beach Boys classic God Only Knows. Others left out of the tribute, per EW, included Carrie Fisher, David Bowie, and The Eagles singer Glenn Frey.

Sex, drugs, and car crashes were just a fraction of the heaping dose of delicious drama we were served on The Fosters premiere.
The Fosters Season 4 Episode 11 dove right back into the thick of it, picking up moments after where The Fosters Season 4 Episode 10 left off, with Jesus being whisked away in an ambulance, Callie still trapped in the car with Troy, and me wringing my hands together because so many of my Foster loves were catching hell.
Admit it, you were stressed out too.
What better way to break this down, then with hashtags? First up?
#ProtectJesusAtAllCosts
It was a relief to see that the show addressed Jesus' condition instantly. He was alert when he was in that ambulance. Good sign right? The kid would be fine.
But nooo, that wouldn't be any fun now would it? He had to start bringing up smelling gasoline and, you know, having seizures.

If you were hoping to see what happened with Alex at the D.A.'s office, then you were probably disappointed on Thursday night.
If you wanted to delve into a case that put a spotlight on the abysmal medical conditions of a correctional facility, then well, you'll still be disappointed, in humanity and society.
Nevertheless, Grey's Anatomy Season 13 Episode 10 was the episode for you.
It wasn't the hour the majority of us hoped for, but it was still a decent installment.
"You Can Look ( But You'd Better Not...)" was a thoughtful hour. It was slow paced and took us away from the hustle and bustle of Grey-Sloan and narrowed the episode's cast down to Jo, Bailey and Arizona.
Slower-paced episodes that are case specific can be fun, sometimes.
The problem is, I had my heart set on finding out whether or not a beloved character would be sent away after taking a deal.

“30 Rock” gave us many gifts over its seven seasons, and its fictional TV series were some of the best. When I was not much older than my oldest son is now, either fourth or fifth grade, the older girl next door who spent several years slowly initiating me to both the secret worlds of rock'n'roll and kissing, thus assuring those things would forever be linked in my mind, played me one of the many 45s she kept in a big giant carry-around box with the Rolling Stone lips on the cover. This one, she assured me, was "mind-blowing." She was right. The first time I heard "Space Oddity," it felt like I lifted off the ground with that countdown, infinity in endless mandala opening above me, as that strange voice, so thin at times, so powerful at others, sang with such longing, such powerful desire to both reach back to a humanity left behind and rocket on into whatever cosmic possibilities lay ahead. I must have played that record...

On paper, tonight’s Season 9 finale of The Voice is a four horse race — but the week’s iTunes rankings tell a tale of two ponies pulling away from the pack, and the photo-finish cameras bracing for a head-bob at the finish line.

The X Factor finally kicked off its live shows this weekend, and gosh, it looks like we've got a seriously strong field of acts this year. In fact, ranking them seems faintly unfair as even those lower down the league put in some fantastic performances, but we sucked it up and did it anyway:
13. Max Stone
You could have the best voice in the world, Max, and yours is very nice. But you still did a cod reggae cover of 'Someone Like You'.
12. Bupsi
Not quite 'You're A Wonderful One' this week. More of 'You're An Okay-But-We-Preferred-Pony One'.
11. Kiera Weathers
Kiera sang 'Crying For No Reason'... let's hope the voting public won't actually give her a reason to cry.
10. Reggie N Bollie
Reggie N Bollie covered 'It Wasn't Me' but if we were them we'd be taking All the credit for this super fun performance.

The X Factor hopeful Louisa Johnson left the judges stunned with an incredible performance of 'God Only Knows' tonight.
The 17-year-old didn't even know the song before this week and was suffering from a sore throat, but left Cheryl Fernandez-Versini praising her "absolute star quality" after she took to the stage.
"You have no idea how good you are because we have just witnessed the birth of a star," Simon Cowell added. "You have the potential for something so special.
"It just happens to be your luck this year that there are a ton of other good singers in the competition... But you want to win and I love winners. And if that's where it's going to start, God only knows where it's going to end."
Nick Grimshaw described the performance as "incredible" and praised Louisa's focus, adding: "You created a moment then. It felt like a moment...

She's back! Monica Michael was snapped in rehearsals for The X Factor yesterday after becoming the show's Wildcard this series.
Michael - who was originally sent home after Judges' Houses - was seen performing her rendition of Ed Sheeran's 'Make It Rain'. Oh, and she had time for a hug with mentor Rita Ora, too.
Rita was really dishing out the hugs, as she was also spotted embracing Louisa Johnson - who'll take on 'God Only Knows' as part of this weekend's 'This Is Me' theme.
Elsewhere, she could be seen giving Kiera Weathers a pep talk ahead of her performance of Katy B's 'Crying For No Reason'.
But there was also time for a giggle and some dance practice with Lauren Murray, whose dream of performing a Whitney track on the show will become reality this weekend when she tackles the legend's version of 'I'm Every Woman'.

Backstage contributing editor and vice president of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Tim Grierson sat down with “Love & Mercy” co-stars Elizabeth Banks and Paul Dano Oct. 10 as part of SAG Foundation’s Conversations series. Over the course of their 40-minute interview, Banks and Dano—who star as Melinda Ledbetter and the young Beach Boys leading man, Brian Wilson, respectively—chatted about the film, their eclectic careers, and their advice to actors. Grierson opened the dialogue by making note of director Bill Pohlad’s unconventional approach to the life of Beach Boys musical mastermind Wilson. The biopic begins with Wilson in the mid-’60s during the recording of the now-iconic album “Pet Sounds” (known for “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” and “God Only Knows,” among others). It moves into his struggle and gradual descent into mental illness. Then, Pohlad jumps the timeline to the ’80s, which finds Wilson (now portrayed...

In the world of comic books, sometimes ideas that at first seem really controversial or asinine turn out to be great ideas that push the series in exciting and new directions. Despite all the death threats that they received for it, giving Spider-Man the black symbiote suit was probably the second best idea that ever hit the Spider-Man franchise.[1] Likewise, having Cyclops embark on a psycho-sexual tryst with Emma Frost initially seemed like heresy, but that lone act refreshed the franchise for another five years.[2] Other times, ideas that seem crappy and stupid turn out to be just that. What makes matters worse is when a company like Marvel or DC tries to mine gold from that pile of shit without realizing they’re elbow deep in a pile of clichéd, unarticulated horseshit.
Some ideas are just bad from the get go, like Spider-Man sacrificing his marriage, or getting rid of Mr.

Director: Bill Pohlad; Screenwriters: Oren Moverman, Michael A. Lerner; Starring: John Cusack, Paul Dano, Elizabeth Banks, Paul Giamatti; Running time: 121 mins; Certificate: 12A
Behind the sunny surf-happy image of the iconic '60s band The Beach Boys, frontman Brian Wilson suffers in silence with mental illness - the premise of Love & Mercy. The exact nature (and cause) of his problem isn't clearly defined by indie writer/director Bill Pohlad, which makes life difficult for his stars John Cusack and Paul Dano, playing Wilson at different stages of his life. Both actors give their all but to little effect.
There is a fascinating story in here, somewhere, which Pohlad can't quite extrapolate from the maudlin romance he pitches between the middle-aged Wilson (Cusack) and model-turned-car-saleswoman Melinda (although it is a touching performance from Elizabeth Banks). She appears to develop a Florence Nightingale complex when Wilson presents himself at her showroom, with no social graces at all,...

Atticus Ross spent no time thinking when I asked if he thought Brian Wilson is a genius. He is, said the Academy Award-winning composer. Which is why -- in part -- Ross spent more than a week trying to write just a single minute of music for the Beach Boy's biopic "Love & Mercy," why he felt responsibility to craft something that wasn't "lame" to tell Wilson's troubled history. It's Wilson's legacy that informed Ross' risk-taking action, to chop, screw and build off of stems from Wilson and the Beach Boys' actual recording sessions and make a score that can still stand alone as a singular artwork. Below is an abridged interview with Ross, about his work on "Love & Mercy." The composer/musician/Nine Inch Nails member also spoke on John Hillcoat's next film, writing with Trent Reznor, ] how Radiohead broke their own mold, making a soundtrack to a drug trip,...

The HBO documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck is a personal favorite film of mine this year, and the #12 movie on our list of the best of 2015 so far. The Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne however, a personal friend of Cobain’s and Nirvana’s “before and after they were famous”, is not a fan.
Writing a review on The Talkhouse, where “Musicians Talk Music”, Osborne claimed Morgen’s film is “90 percent bullshit”, and that many of the stories and home movies used in the documentary, only add to the false myth making about Cobain. “That’s the one thing no one gets about Cobain,” Osborne writes. “He was a master of jerking your chain.”
One of the most compelling scenes in Morgen’s film involves is an animated sequence in which Cobain himself recites a story about taking advantage of a mentally retarded girl, then contemplating suicide. Osborne says Cobain’s own account never happened.

Paul McCartney has called “God Only Knows” his favorite song of all time. In an interview with David Leaf in 1990 he stated,
“It’s a really, really great song — it’s a big favorite of mine. I was asked recently to give my top 10 favorite songs for a Japanese radio station … I didn’t think long and hard on it but I popped that (God Only Knows) on the top of my list. It’s very deep. Very emotional, always a bit of a choker for me, that one. There are certain songs that just hit home with me, and they’re the strangest collection of songs … but that is high on the list, I must say … God Only Knows’ ‘ lyrics are great. Those do it to me every time.”

Chicago – Singer/composer Brian Wilson, best known as the mastermind behind The Beach Boys, enters a room. His biographic circumstance and music history immediately fills that room. His life story is now brilliantly set to film, as he is portrayed by Paul Dano and John Cusack through different life stages in “Love & Mercy.”
Written by Oren Moverman and Michael Alan Lerner, and directed by Bill Pohlad, “Love & Mercy” – derived from a Brian Wilson song title – is the story of two crucial phases in the songwriter’s life. The younger phase, portrayed by Paul Dano, checks in with Wilson as he puts together The Beach Boys’ masterpiece, “Pet Sounds.” At this point, the dissolution of Brian Wilson as Rock Star is beginning, and as a result the older phase of his life comes into view, with John Cusack turning in a career-defining performance as Wilson, under the care of psychologist Eugene...

Paul Giamatti is going to make 2015 the year of showing up in musical biopics, and while his face turned up briefly in the Straight Outta Compton trailer, it is nowhere to be seen in the first trailer for this one.
