This 007 inspired television commercial was directed by the Traktor team who previously had co-directed Madonna's music video for the James Bond movie 'Die Another Day' (2002).
This commercial was a integral part of a wider UK £6m global Virgin Atlantic promotional campaign.
Mark Roalfe, Chairman and Executive Creative Director of advertising agency RKCR/Y&R, said: "This film dramatizes all the elements of the Virgin Atlantic brand, but does so in a style that only an airline like Virgin Atlantic would ever do ? encapsulating the essence and 'it' factor of the brand which sets it apart from its competitors."
This advert has often been compared with the opening title sequence of a typical James Bond movie.
