"Quick Step Beyond": too agonizing for words.
After the ill-fated release of the "King of the World" compilation album of 1990 under the name of "Old Nick" and the subsequent legal ban on the use of the name "Old Nick", the artist continued his career under the name of "Virtual Alien". The artist won the right to use his own name later on -solely attributed to Nick Peterson -as a singer / musician / actor and writer (Not as a band and not as a DJ, a beer / drink / rum and other items of consumption). The concept behind: "V.A. -or VA- (Virtual Alien) presents Old Nick" is to re-introduce "Old Nick" as an artist.
Critics over the years pointed out the lack of branding in the name: between "Old Nick" and "Virtual Alien", "The Old Nick", "OldNick" (in one word) and in 1986 the mini-LP "The End" has been released under the names: "Old Nick, Old Nick, Old Nick".
The album needed to include a few hits such as: "The Way You Make Me Feel" -featured on the MTV Party zone in 2000, Be Bop and Inside Story.
The song: "Heart" consists only of a recording from his heart beating and the sound of the whales singing.
