Sex & Nudity

  • Two photos are shown of dead people who are naked. brief but it does have male and female frontal nudity.
  • A woman sees a doctor regularly for fertility. A number of vaginal checks are performed, however this is mainly shown from the side and a cloth is shown over her crotch, so nothing is shown.
  • A woman is shown getting dressed while a man is nude in bed (shown from the shoulders up), implying they had sex.
  • A young couple have drunken sex in an office cubicle, fully clothed, this is offscreen.

Violence & Gore

  • A man throws himself in front of a moving bus, killing himself. The bus is seen running him over, and you can briefly make out his upper half being crushed.
  • A man and a woman get in a pretty brutal fight. The man slices her across the right cheek with a piece from a broken plate (blood is seen), as well as the woman is thrown violently into a radiator.
  • A man is shot from a distance, no blood is seen.
  • Photos of brutally killed people are seen. They're in black and white, so blood, if there is any, is hard to see.
  • A couple training fights are shown.
  • A woman grips a man's neck with her legs, slightly paralyzingly him. She then stabs him with a syringe, injecting him with a sedative.
  • A gunfight breaks out. People are shot but no blood is shown.
  • A man is violently force fed in a few scenes. He is seen spitting his food back in the men's faces.
  • A woman vomits from morning sickness.
  • A man begins punching another man's face repeatedly.
  • A man and a woman get in a fight in a bathroom. He stabs her once in the shoulder, blood is seen soaking her shoulder area of her shirt. She stabs him in the leg with a piece of porcelain, no blood is shown. He then stabs her in the abdomen and blood soaks the area of the shirt. She survives this.
  • A man falls down and dies. A shot reveals a syringe in his back, revealing he died from poisoning.

Profanity

  • About 12 uses of "fuck", a few "shits" and other milder terms.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Cigarette smoking is shown frequently, given the film's time period. Some alcohol consumption is shown too. A couple appears to be drunk in one scene.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The whole film is intense from beginning to end. This is a very disturbing film and should not be taken lightly. The plot deals with very sensitive topics such as the holocaust and some will find it very intense and disturbing as well as graphic. Much of the storyline has a very depressing feeling as well.
