Second feature film entitled 'Run Rabbit Run' to shoot in South Australia (SA). The first had been about fourteen years earlier with 'Run Rabbit Run' (2007), writer-director Bob Ellis' feature documentary about former SA Labor Party Premier Mike Rann. Prior to this, another South Australian shot dramatic feature film, was the similarly titled 'Run Chrissie Run!' (1984), which coincidentally, premiered in the same year as the also similarly titled, 'Run Rebecca, Run!' (1984).
Actress Sarah Snook and director Daina Reid previously collaborated on the Australian television mini-series The Secret River (2015).
