I remember seeing this back in the 1990s, and it was quite provocative, and quite explicit. It kind of goes back in time, being set in the 1980s and all init, and it's worth noting The Men's Room debuted over thirty years ago to much controversy.
Beneath the explicit beast-with-two-backs scenes between Charity Walter (Harriet Walter) and Mark Carleton (Bill Nighy) in The Men's Room is the undercurrent of Thatcherism and its devastating impact on UK universities, especially sociology departments that suffered from Thatcher's ideal of the individual as opposed to society.
Anyway, worth watching init.
