After taking a two or so hour break from the anime after episode 6 i have to say this episode was kinda meh. I think the best way to describe it is average. I honestly do not think that this episode was anything special.
I must say although i am still interested (to an extent) in David's outcome by the end of the anime, this episode made me less interested just a touch. I also am not too interested in his relationship with Lucy.
Speaking of the devil, i thought her reveal in this episode was pretty lacklustre. By this i mean i just didn't seem to care all that much. Lucy is a weird character as i don't hate her or anything but don't particularly like her much either. I also don't care for her at all. I actually everyone else in the crew both past and present more (obviously only including the main cast of the crew not unnamed John Doe in the back).
I enjoyed the other little voice cameo in this episode however. For people who have played the games this will be a cool little scene. Also Night City in this anime seem to have around seven big lights from it whilst in the game it only has three. A strange fact as it's been pretty consistent to the game thus far. Unless there is a reason for the change i don't know about lore wise, but i highly doubt it.
