Saw this at the South African HorrorFest in Cape Town.
While the premise and plot of this film are somewhat hackneyed (it's your typical mysterious zombie-filled world with scattered survivors), this films greatest strength lies in the dramatic tension between its characters.
Having said that, it would have been interesting to see their relationship developed a bit more. There was far too much time spent on a silly and probably unnecessary news clip.
The woman lost her baby, but seems to have shrugged off the loss pretty quickly.
The execution was pretty slick. Decent FX and consummately acted.
Of course, it's always great to have a twist at the end. Well done.
