Once more, Susan deserves a slap and, once more, no-one gives it to her.Instead she gets her own way, at least for now, by having Zeke drag Rachel back to the fold.Are Rachel's expectations unrealistic?She seems at one point to be quite happy for her and Angus to shut themselves away together and pretend the rest of the world doesn't exist, which suggests she's not being very practical.Yet her family aren't exactly making her situation easy.Karl seems to be aiming at the wrong target by reminding Susan she loved Alex when he's got a whole string of far more unsuitable boyfriends to pick up on.
Elsewhere, we get more Declan/Bridget shtick and some Oliver/Carmella shtick, which does seem to have cropped up a bit too soon after Marco but, hey, their contracts are running out soon.Otherwise, the main focus of the episode is the boys sitting around a bar moaning about the fact they're all single.Including Callum.Although as it turns out, he's the one who understands just how Steve is feeling.
