When Mr. Krabs forgets the recipe, he gives SpongeBob the key to the vault and sends him on a train ride to retrieve the formula. But someone steals the key! It's a mystery-aboard-a-train story as SpongeBob tries to locate the culprit, and he does it with the unlikeliest of allies ... Plankton! - The Patty Caper: SpongeBob is tasked to get the secret formula for Krabby Patties, but he finds the bottle missing inside the suitcase. SpongeBob and Patrick start to interrogate Plankton, Sandy, Gary, and Squidward to see if they stole the formula, but neither of them stole the recipe. It is soon discovered that Mr. Krabs stole the formula in order to avoid paying for the delivery and he tried to frame SpongeBob. Mr. Krabs is forced to give away free patties as punishment for framing SpongeBob and the cops force Mr. Krabs to watch SpongeBob to give away the patties for free. Plankton's Regular: For the first time Plankton has a customer who likes his chum. Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob try to get the customer to eat at the Krusty Krab, but they fail to get the customer to eat their food. Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob try to steal Plankton's recipe, but they end up being trapped by Plankton. When the customer arrives with a large cash pay, he gives the money back to Karen and he has to go to the hospital to get his stomach pumped again after consuming too much chum.
