This showrunner is so full of herself. She keeps talking about 'the far future' of the show, like it's guaranteed it's going to have five seasons.. I would love for it to get five seasons but this is the film/tv industry we are talking about.
She also talks about how she expects the audience to react, and she got it wrong every. single. time. for me, These are spoilers, so you shouldn't read further if you want to be surprised. I've seen the witcher as a good character throughout the entire show, contrary to what she as saying in episode one and six. I also didn't want yennifer and gerald to be together, they basically had a one night stand and supposedly they fell in love with eahother (also the whole magic thing but that only binds their destiny's together ( something the dragon disproves in episode 6 but let's not dive too deep into that)).
she also does say some interesting stuff, like: the way they write the show is that when they want something to happen they call back on (one of) the first episodes and pull some interesting stuff from that.
This is by no means a critique on the witcher itself, it's a critique on these mindocu's and the light they shine on the producers (in my eyes a negative one). I'm hella invested in the story, and apparently I'm kind of a unique audience member (see the third paragraph of this review), but this mini-docu didn't make me any more excited ór made me think I had learnt intriguing snippets of information.
