This is a recap for the ninth episode of Season 4 of Mad Men starring Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery, January Jones, and a slew of other talented actors, on an episode called “The Beautiful Girls.” There was no recap last week as I had just moved to Los Angeles and was busy putting my “life” “together.” So, without further ado and with thanks for your patience, here is your For Your Consideration Recap: The Only Reason To Leave An Orange Soda And Turkey Wrap Behind…. …Is getting a little Dick Whitman. And while the tasteful people behind Mad Men refrained from showing us the sweaty, wild animal sex Don and Dr. Faye Miller were having, they did give us this fabulous little moment that was begging to be GIFted: Don’S Chest Hair Looks Awfully Familiar… Because It Looks Exactly Like E.T. Only, in this scenario, E.T. phone ho.

The Prince of Persia movie soundtrack. That Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time might well be the finest video game-to-movie conversion of all time while still finding itself disparaged by the critics and less enthusiastically embraced by audiences than had been anticipated is testament to the staggering crappiness of previous entries in the field; a losers-all allotment, as hopeless to look to in a search for quality as it is to try and identify a cast member on The Hills who is not a vain, vapid nincompoop.
The fact that the Bruckheimer-produced PoP film was sired from the realm of pixels and parallax scrolling is not the only reason that its arrival was greeted with a narrow eyed glare of mistrust. There was also the uncomfortable reconfiguration of ethnicity which meant that the movie’s medieval fantasy Persia was populated by Brits (Arterton, Kingsley, Molina, Kebbell) and an American...

Yesterday, I posted a new clip called ‘Sand Trap’ from the new Jerry Bruckheimer / Disney movie, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. As this post goes live, I’m actually sitting in front of either Mike Newell, Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Sir Ben Kingsley or computer game creator, Jordan Mechner so I thought it would be quite cool to schedule a post that goes live while I’m here!
Here’s a couple of new clips from the movie which I got to see yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed. It’s on general release 21st May and the audio from the interviews that I am currently giving will be online next week.
For now, check out these new clips – ‘We Attack at Dawn’ courtesy of MovieTickets.com and the other I’ll call ‘Escape from the Baddies!’ where we see Jake using a lot of Parkour to escape from some seriously annoyed Persian guards.
