This was a clever and very interesting little animation from Jimmy T. Murakami, director of the beautiful short "The Snowman" and the incredibly bleak(but outstanding) "When the Wind Blows".
The harmless fun of a group of bullets is suddenly interrupted as a man put them in a gun in order to commit suicide. After a failed attempt to convince the man to change his mind about his decision, both met their respective end at the end of the short.
Without a single spoken word, "Death of a Bullet" manages to be a very solid work, having simple but very stylish designs, which along the melancholic undertones of the story, results in a very effective combination of black comedy and tragedy.
8/10
