This episode really gets at the guts of undercover work. Wheatly is getting worse and worse and circumstances make for Eliot and Wheatly to face off. This episode ends with a major surprise.

We missed the Benson and Stabler partnership. We missed your suspect chases, too.
I'm still looking for ice t, munch, and even cragen in their suspicious chases. I haven't gotten used to the new team yet. Just matter of time.

If you are a fan of this show, I will make this short and sweet. The writers had their A Game back and it was filled with action and suspense. The actor who played Richie even showed some depth to his character, which was quite unexpected.
I have never been one to write reviews. I am not a tv snob, but this cast is superb, one of the best I have seen in a number of years!! I am looking forward to the finale tonight, to see if we get the payoff we so richly want, but I am going to miss not having new episodes this summer.
Thank you Dick Wolf for two amazing hours of tv this Spring! Can't wait for next season!!

Warning: Spoilers
This was a great episode. But I'm only commenting because it's funny to me how just because every scene isn't *only* white and straight people, one reviewer described it as "woke". First of all, you're using that word wrong. Secondly, the world has changed; it isn't just straight white people and here's a series that's showing it! And they aren't even going overboard, literally just showed what they would've showed had the couple been heterosexual and white. There's plenty of room for black and gay people along with white and straight people and everything in between! Lighten up, buttercup. 😊
Scary stuff, Olivia Benson (Mariska Hartigay) is slowly interjecting her dour personality into every episode so STOP IT

If this series is to survive past season one (1) the producers (this means you Mariska Hartigay) need to refrain from easing Olivia Benson into every episode. Benson has her own show already in which she stars in and gazes jaw-a-dropping in far too many scenes which is why I stopped watching Law & Order SVU.
Please give Elliot Stabler a fighting chance to make a series of his own without literally dumping the pouty faced Olivia Benson into every episode of this new show. She ruined SVU by sucking up all the air time and I would like to watch Law & Order: Organized Crime with fresh faces and new story lines, not the regurgitated crap and woke story lines of SVU.
I will give this series two (2) more episodes and if the quality does not improve I will call this series unfortunately "Done like dinner".
I give it a 4 out of 10 IMDB rating for this episode.
