Absolutely love the show! Two thumbs up!

Absolutely love the show! Two thumbs up! Sanctuary and Warehouse 13 have now taken the place of Stargate SG1 and Atlantis for me, as I find Stargate Universe dull beyond belief. Obviously the heart of what made Stargate SG1 so popular moved through Atlantis and continued on to Sanctuary, cause it sure didn't stay with it's namesake! Thanks Damian, Amanda, and Marty!!! I like Dunne & Robbins. Heyerdahl is exceptional! Agam Darshi - nice addition ..... More Druit, Wingfield and Young please - These guys rock! Goa'uld beget Wraithe beget Abnormals - OK,VERY COOL! Keep the DeLouise boys in the loop and maybe throw in some RickyD, a little Chris Judge and of course Michael Shanks as periodic guests and you have the IT factor that made Stargate in the first place - the main cast, producers, and writers! Would be nice to see Simon and Williams back in the gang as well! I do believe that Apophis and Baal would make superb Abnormals! Keep up the good work guys - This is great! KUDOS!

An excellent series that is as interesting as it is innovative

I have watched television series on Syfy in the past. Some were okay and others were terrible but this is the first series that I have seen on Syfy that I would rate as truly excellent. The pilot was a little slow at first (as is often the case with pilots) but by the middle of the second episode my interest was peaked. And by the third episode I was completely hooked! The storyline is engaging with enough of an arc that I want to continue watching. I have not found a television series that I have enjoyed this much since The X-Files series ended. The cinematography is creative and visually pleasing without calling attention away from the plot. The performances delivered by the cast are superb. There are too many TV series and movies that cast actors who seem to be "emotionally flat-lined". It is extremely refreshing to see actors like Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne who actually REACT to emotional situations (in much the same way that people do in real life) rather than just looking like a wooden doll. I am looking forward to the next season of Sanctuary and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

please ........not again.

This show is a good example of what happens when an actor stays with an incredibly successful show for a long time and through this common sense and loyalty to the successful show, becomes a star in her own right and garners producing power to be used at a later date...........unfortunately sometimes they over reach their grasp and waste that preciously achieved Hollywood authority in a first attempt that, for a variety of reasons, is just a boring, derivative bomb and while i am not shocked, i am surprised that it has been apparently renewed for a second season .........my feeling here is that, again, this is the influence of Amanda Tapping, flexing her muscles and reflected by whatever deal she was able to arrange when she decided to produce her show because it is pretty clear that this show would never have been renewed by a major network ........but due to the fact that SyFy will air just about any lame story that can be produced within a given budget it does not surprise that they will do almost anything to keep a known star on screen .........too bad, because it really is a dis-service to their viewers.

I cannot even begin to tell you why i dislike this slow, ponderous storyline but i would mention the overt overacting, the generally poor ability of some of the co-stars(Robin Dunne's only acting device seems to be to open his mouth and keep it open regardless of his motivation or what's happening around him .....it seems to be his only available response) ......as well, i was very happy when the extremely unsympathetic character of the daughter disappeared, i thought maybe they were trying to improve their character base .......she was so annoying and although she thought she was a real killer, she was actually quite incompetent.........another huge annoyance to me personally is Tapping's accent......now i suppose that may be her natural accent but, if so, she has apparently gotten so used to her American accent after so many years that she may no longer actually be able to sound like herself........her accent seems bizarre and fake to me ......i cannot even place her accent and i am actually pretty good at doing so .......in other words i can't tell what part of England she came from due to the bizarre evolution of her accent ........i have actually seen this phenomena in other people who have lived in the united states for a long time even when they have not affected an American accent every day for their work...............anyway, due to the poor character development, the derivative historical name dropping and sluggish story lines, i don't give this show a very healthy lifespan.
