Here we go again

A Polish movie. Bland, boring and simply unpleasant to watch.

The story is dull. In many Polish movies, there is still a complex about previous taboo sujbects visible so there is a lot about sex or sex reliated issues. Usually cringy. And it's here too.

Dialogs are unsignificant at all.

And not original, we've heard them million times.

The only good bits are: Agnieszka Grochowska i Grzegorz Damiecki. Not that Jasmina Polak and Maciej Stuhr are bad, they're very good actors, but their voice emission is from a theatre, not cinema.

A viewer is not convinced the relationships are real.

Nothing is convincing tbh. Like when the women go to bar - their drink of choice is vodka - it looks ridiculous. It's not 1986 anymore.

And that title... Don't waste your time.

Yet another picture of Polish women

I have watched this movie today for the very first time and I'm glad I didn't go to see it to the theater before when it's been screened. A very big disappointment.

Besides poor scripting for me personally it was yet another sad to watch another movie in which Polish women treat themselves with no respect. Why are there so many movies with this motive being so emphasized? The movie itself is mild and doesn't surprise watcher with anything. Also, don't understand how this has been classified as comedy. It's a very sad picture to watch. Too bad cause I liked the main actress (Agnieszka Grochowska).

Subtle, funny and heartfelt

This incredible Polish pic by a great director is definitely worthy of the attention of any lover of film.

It is incredibly well-written and contains nuances, great performances, adults and children alike, and great and unique cinematography, cutting and editing. It is heavy on metaphorical and allegorical filmmaking, and it pays of immensly.

It contains a sense of tragedy, and some humour amids it all, which mixes beautifully. Very beautifully put together all around.

Overall, an incredible and masterful presentation by a great director, with powerful riveting performances and great cinematography.

Very much recommended for any lover of film!

Raw but subtle, amazing performance

A group of friends with their children go on a traditional long weekend trip on the Danish island of Bornholm. An incident between children will trigger a wave of crisis in their relationships. Hey.
