Much needed episode

I've been very critical of SVU lately but kudos to them for this episode. Men can be abused. The fact that Olivia was the biggest advocate of a male victim was refreshing to see. Only downside was Kat was annoying. But that's nothing new. Michael Gladis and Anna Wood were great as the couple the SVU detectives try to decipher the truth from. I'm also seeing a lot of growth from Carisi. Gone is the goofy detective who got on your nerves. He's coming into his own as an ADA and I hope we see more courtroom scenes.

For all those reviews that say the show now is too woke. You know you dont have to watch it. As to this episode it was incredible. Any episode with someone from OZ is gonna be good. Very real situation.

An interesting case here for sure. Predictable, but well-done and showed how dangerous sexual assault can be for anyone.

An unusual topic but a serious one.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode started a little bit different from the normal.

Just what it seems to be another sexual assault episode this was really different.

At the beginning of this episode, a neighbor from cheif Garland.

This is a case of domestic violence but in this one the wife of the main character is the abuser.

This isn't a case that Olivia has seen before.

All the characters made a good job.

Carisi was amazing defending his client.

At the end of the episode, the wife was sentenced to jail.

An enjoyable episode from this great TV serie.

I recommend this episode.

Even More fitting with current events

This is a very important episode and is especially interesting given the current law case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. The public as a whole still feel "men/males/boys" can never be assaulted, especially by women.

This episode is proof

Your can create a compelling episode without being woke. This felt more like SVU from 20 years ago. And that's a good thing.
