Badly acted and slow

Warning: Spoilers
LOST SOUL is an indie horror/thriller with some dark elements. The story sees a woman murdered by a serial killer at which point her spirit begins to haunt her partner in order that she might rest in piece. The problem is that the guys playing both the serial killer and the partner are very bad actors and the film goes for a slow and talky approach so they get way too much screen time. The best actor of the bunch is the mainstream star Nick Mancuso but his role amounts to little more than an extended cameo.

Why can't these guys act?

Horrible. Weak writing, weak acting, although the two leading women wore OK.

A cheesy soundtrack, terrible editing and flawed camera work contributed to the demise of this film, but the weakness are so widespread and so deep, it is difficult to recommend this at any level.

Silvia Suvadová is quite beautiful but could not act her way out of a paper bag, if she were to be judged solely on the basis of this film. I suspect her other endeavors are more interesting.

Nick Mancuso is the most capable of the males in this feeble effort, but his scenes were very, very short.

Zadran Wali was simply in over his head. His too-frequent angst- drenched scenes became boring.

David Vescio's character, Donald, was a bit more interesting, but the editor surely left the better stuff on the cutting room floor.

The guys, aside from Nick Mancuso? Every one of you - please, go back to your day job.
