In addition to Mickey's friends, the Big Bad Wolf has also eaten Dumbo, Timothy Mouse, and the Saxophone Prince from the Silly Symphony 'Music Land.'
This is the first time since 1993 where The Big Bad Wolf is voiced by someone other than Jim Cummings.
Mickey quotes his creator, Walt Disney, when he says "it's kind of fun to do the impossible."
The Big Bad Wolf invites Mickey over to Practical Pig's brick house. The art work on the wall, including the roast ham (father) and the picture of "mother," are the same ones adorning the walls in the 1933 Silly Symphony, "The Three Little Pigs." The piano made of bricks is also in the 1933 short.
Mickey tries to give the Big Bad Wolf a statue of Mickey holding the Big Bad Wolf's hand. The statue resembles the famed Partners' statue of Walt Disney holding Mickey's hand, which can be found at Disneyland and other Disney parks.
