"Teenage love.Everything's always a drama."
skteosk9 February 2009
So, Bridget Parker, the world's worst tomboy, has got herself up the duff by the biggest jerk in the street. And the worst thing of all is that they're probably going to get a happy ending. The second worst thing is that it's one more reason for this hideously incompatible pair to stay together.

What we're therefore treated to is a lot of teenage angst, with Bridget feeling a non-existent baby bump and Declan in full-on uncaring father mode and improbably getting himself arrested. And a random character from a few episodes ago turning up because there's no-one else for him to flirt with.Steve and Miranda being obliviously supportive is kinda sweet. But seriously, even with it being open house on Ramsey Street, would Rebecca really just wander into the Parkers' house to comfort Bridget?(And would she really have a photo of Declan as a young boy on the mantelpiece in someone else's house?)

Elsewhere, we have Rachel and Ty showing how it should be done by actually sparking off each other well and having chemistry.Their scene searching for the pig manages to be incredibly romantic even though they barely touch.Susan's as annoying as usual and Libby and Dan's wedding is coming across as fairly tiring already.
