Although Kristen Stewart’s Twilight movies launched her Hollywood career, the actress mentioned being overwhelmed by a major flaw in the films. Appearing to promote her new movie Love Lies Bleeding on Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Stewart discussed her cult classic character Bella Swan.
Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan in a still from Twilight
Kristen Stewart had previously spent five movies playing the clumsy heroine Bella Swan, who was smitten with the sparkling vampire Edward Cullen, in the Twilight saga. Kristen Stewart Addressed Her Twilight Character
From creating headlines following her Rolling Stones photoshoot to being busy with her Love Lies Bleeding press tours, Kristen Stewart took some time out for Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.

The internet and social media are filled with all kinds of people. There are supporters, haters and trolls everywhere. A lot of celebrities prefer staying off social media for their own sanity. Over the last ten years, we’ve seen these platforms become easily accessible to anyone and everyone. Almost a decade ago, actress Kristen Stewart shared how she feared that someone from a social media platform might kill her.
In 2012, when Kristen Stewart was just 22, she talked about how, because of social media, people might always know where she is. In author Talia Soghomonion’s e-book called ‘Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner – In Their Own Words’, the Twilight actress said, “Nowadays it’s harder because everyone is on Facebook and everyone knows where you are all the time, and everyone’s twittering. "I've never given much thought to how I would die, but dying in the place of someone I love seems like a good way to go." Now that's how you start a franchise!
Since 2008, the "Twilight" films have been a cultural mainstay for better and for worse. A film so beloved that cosmetics companies are selling out of "Twilight"-inspired collections in under 10 minutes 15 years later, and so hated that it inspired the $20 million studio-produced parody film "Vampires Suck." Few multi-billion dollar franchises are quite this polarizing, and even fewer have had as powerful of a cultural reclamation years later. Love them or hate them, the "Twilight" films are one of the most important products of the late 2000s and 2010s, and no amount of whining about vampires sparkling or commenting "still a better love story than 'Twilight'" is going to change that.

I don’t know of many Christmas horror adaptations. Sure, I could probably look at the history of Krampus and piece something together but other than that I’m hard pressed so let me know in the comments what I could cover next holiday season. Winter in general has all sorts of movies and stories that they are based off of. The very first episode of this show was all about The Thing and its source material Who Goes There and now in the middle of winter, at least in Colorado, I think it’s time to look at one of the better vampire properties of the 2000s and a great limited series comic. 30 Days of Night was originally pitched as a movie but when it was turned down, the comic came out and put the author’s name on the map. As is the nature of Hollywood, it...

Fangs, Forks, Washington and fall, oh my! The five “Twilight Saga” films set the mood for the fall season, so as Halloween nears, get ahead with the movie nights and marathons so that you have ample time to absorb all the broody, bloody love story this season. Fall is the perfect time to re-invest in the love triangle and vampire vs. werewolf drama that the five films, adapted from Stephanie Meyer’s four books, have to offer.
Come for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s romance, and stay for Taylor Lautner’s eager portrayal of Jacob the werewolf in the latter four films. Dakota Fanning makes a great member of the Volturi. Plus, now that the WGA has a deal with the AMPTP, the reboot television series of “Twilight” over at Lionsgate might start back up again soon.

A new urban legend comes to life in the new trailer for Dark Harvest. The trailer starts with the ominous, almost Grimm fairy tale-esque narration that says, “It’s Halloween. You know what that means. Old Sawtooth Jack is gonna rise from the cornfields. It’s gotta be stopped. Kill or be killed.” David Slade returns to a grittier tone after the Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night director took on one of the chapters in the Twilight franchise, helming The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The director also returns to features after Slade tried his hand at television with Breaking Bad and Black Mirror. He also once set to make a series, Red Bird Lane, with Crispin Glover and Susan Sarandon until Max (HBO Max at the time) opted not to continue with it.

It’s kinda crazy to think that since 2010 (when he released the massively popular “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse“), filmmaker David Slade has only worked on one feature film, 2018’s experimental Netflix project, “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch.” Sure, over that time, he has worked quite a bit with quality TV series like “Breaking Bad,” “Hannibal,” and “American Gods,” but he hasn’t done really anything in film.

David Slade, the director of the Emmy and BAFTA-award winning “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch,” has signed with 42, the Los Angeles and London-based management and production company. The company will manage the filmmaker, who also joins 42’s commercials offering OB42 for representation in the U.K.
Slade’s previous work has received critical acclaim, with his first feature “Hard Candy” winning the jury and audience first prize at the 2005 Sitges Film Festival of Horror, before being acquired by Lionsgate out of Sundance. He also shown a flare for studio-driven and franchise films, such as Summit’s “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and “30 Days of Night” for Sony. Most recently, Slade served as director on the upcoming MGM/Amazon feature adaptation of the Norman Partridge novel “Dark Harvest,” which is set to be released this year.

After a tumultuous return to his family’s hole-in-the-wall Chicago restaurant, chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) and his staff transform the greasy sandwich joint into a first-class dining experience after he discovers the slush fund his brother left behind. Despite having the extra money to make his dreams a reality, the future proves to be both a personal and professional challenge for Carmy and the crew.
Watch the trailer for Season 2 of “The Bear”:
Beginning on June 14, the new series continuation of the beloved film “The Full Monty” arrives on Hulu. It’s 25 years later and the men and women of Sheffield, England, are in reboot mode, navigating life and family. The original 1997 movie focused on a group of down-on-their-luck, blue-collar men who put on a strip show to make ends meet.

The Twilight Saga ran its course on the big screen, with five movies telling the story of the four books in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. While there are some side stories and reimaginings that could still be brought to the screen, the main tale has been told. Now ten and a half years have gone by since the release of the last film in the franchise… and that means the story is ripe for a re-telling. That’s clearly what Lionsgate Television believes, anyway, as The Hollywood Reporter has broken the news that a Twilight TV series is in development!
The Hollywood Reporter notes that the Twilight TV series is in its infancy and does not yet have a network/platform or a writer as sources say the studio, which controls the rights to the franchise, plans to lead the development on the project before shopping the rights to the package.

Anna Kendrick is just delightful. From her recent appearance on "Hot Ones" to showing up in things like Stephen Colbert's "The Lord of the Rings" rap for the trilogy's 20th anniversary (where she is given a hard time for being in the "Twilight" movies) she is always a whole lot of fun to watch. Kendrick is promoting her new film, "Alice, Darling," where she plays a woman dealing with an emotionally abusive relationship. She recently sat down with Vanity Fair to watch clips of her old films like "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World," "Pitch Perfect," "Camp," and "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," where she voiced her thoughts on her graduation speech in the latter.
Kendrick played the relatively small role of Jessica, one of Bella Swan's (Kristen Stewart) human friends in the town of Forks, Washington. If you recall the film, it's the end of high school for Bella,...

Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities — a marvelous compendium of streaming deadtime stories — emphasizes everything that lures me to horror anthologies. It feels like a reinvention of Showtime’s Masters of Horror, highlighting everything I appreciate about the format. One might balk at calling Cabinet of Curiosities an outright horror anthology, more a miniseries? Still, the decadently morbid and dazzlingly darkened atmosphere under del Toro’s oversight draws rich atmospheric throughlines. Del Toro’s program calls to mind grim grab bags like A Christmas Horror Story, the V/H/S series, Southbound, and all the subgenre classics fans already laud.
If you think horror anthologies are just scattered collections of short-form storytelling and that’s all, consider yourself open to reeducation. Horror anthologies are often maligned because — like other subgenres such as found footage — horror anthologies can become fallback “easy to make” titles. Individual scripts only need to stretch minutes versus hours,...

Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis had it’s star-studded premiere on Wednesday night at the Cannes Film Festival. One of the big tentpole movies to show at the festival, the biopic on the King of Rock and Roll was enthusiastically received.
Variety reported “The film received an uproarious 12-minute standing ovation, the longest of this year’s festival so far. As the the cheers went on and on, a teary-eyed Butler hugged an equally-emotional Priscilla Presley, who flew to the South of France to give her blessing for the movie about her late husband.”

Though the confusingly named initiative “FX on Hulu” is on its way out, FX is still bringing premium television to Hulu in the meantime.
Hulu’s list of new releases for April 2022 is highlighted by FX limited series Under the Banner of Heaven. This adaptation of the non-fiction book by John Krakauer stars Andrew Garfield as a Mormon police detective whose faith is shaken when investigating a murder involving the church.
It’s not all just FX on the TV side of things for Hulu this month, however. The streamer is debuting second seasons of its series The Hardy Boys (April 6) and Woke (April 8). There isn’t much to report from Hulu’s original movies arm aside from true crime documentary Captive Audience on April 21. But that doc about one family’s 50-year journey for justice sounds like a must-watch.

While it’s entirely possible to play through Elden Ring and not even realize that the game’s massive world contains nine Legendary weapons, anyone interested in earning every Elden Ring achievement will need to hunt those weapons down at some point.
Much like Elden Ring‘s collection of Legendary spells, the game’s Legendary weapons are rarely as impressive as you would assume they must be. It’s nice that Elden Ring allows you to turn any weapon into a viable late-game option, but it’s still a little odd that many Legendary weapons are only technically deserving of that impressive distinction. Still, there’s at least one Legendary weapon in the game that has to be on any shortlist of the most powerful Elden Ring weapons regardless of your preferred playstyle.
Whatever your interest in Elden Ring‘s Legendary weapons may be, here is where you can find all of them.

Are we in the midst of a Twilight-naissance? All five movies from the vampire romance are now available to stream on Netflix, giving old and new viewers alike the excuse to visit the overcast world of Forks, Washington, and dive into the love story of brooding vampire Edward Cullen and clumsy human teenager Bella Swan.
But unlike other film franchises, the order of The Twilight Saga is not super intuitive. Although the films are chronological, aside from the final two films in the franchise, they aren’t numbered, which can leave viewers who haven’t read the books a bit confused.
