Ten years have passed, fans were unsatisfied with the final 8th season of "Dexter" and Showtime understood that some adjustments had to be done, but also, that there is still a fanbase and interrest in this show.
Now, Dexter is back, episode 4 and the show is keeping its good quality that started with episode 3.
We finally get there, what I was expecting: Family is blood; father and son were born in blood. A little bit predictable, but strong storystelling.
I like this strong theme from the original Dexter shows and it's nicely woven into this new story.
Without spending too much words:
Some slow-paced suspense build-up is done for the next episodes to come. Some character development is getting deeper.
Really good episode.
Michael C. Hall shows some of his best acting to date and it's just a pleasure to watch him as Dexter.
Stay tuned to this show.
I give this 4th episode: 8 stars. It's on the same level as episode 3. Great.
Highly recommended.
