The One Where Stan Stays Up All Night, Every Night...
taylorkingston1 September 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I absolutely love this episode. It is one of my all time favourite ones. In this episode, Stan is annoyed that he never gets any free time to himself. He goes to work and then comes home to Francine and the kids wanting to talk and do things. What a drag right? So, Stan, needing to take action, finds some medication, that when he takes it, makes him feel like he's already had eight hours of sleep. So, when it's bed time and all the talking is done, he takes the pills and spends the night with himself. He does all of the things he never got the chance to do. Watch TV without being interrupted. Make model airplanes. Anything that doesn't involve any contact with a human being, a talking fish, or an alien. But when Francine discovers what Stan's been doing, she decides to take the medication as well, which makes Stan's plan, completely pointless. This episode is just so fantastic. Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10. Amazing.

Classic American Dad... in being unoriginal that is!

Warning: Spoilers
Good god, here's an old episode of American Dad that's just as unoriginal as the modern episodes. In this episode, Stan decides to have time to himself and ditch Francine, later regretting that decision. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Simpsons already did it. In the B plot of the episode Marge's Son Poisoning. The same thing happened there too, and that episode was released a couple years earlier! All that American Dad did here is remove the Moe Szyslak type of character, to make sure it isn't 100% copied. Well you can't fool me!
