- TriviaFive months before this episode aired, O.J. Simpson was convicted of robbery and kidnapping and was sentenced to 33 years in prison. The title card saying that this episode takes place in 2007 was added to explain why Simpson is portrayed as being free. A line was changed stating that the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman happened 13 years prior.
- GoofsEven if O.J. confesses to Peter, it wouldn't matter because of double jeopardy; a person can't be tried for the same crime twice.
- Quotes
Stewie Griffin: [to Peter and his friends] Hey, keep it down! It's just two guys making out. Relax.

Hits differently now.
I think we all know what happened (at the time of me writing this), so I won't repeat it here, but oh boy oh boy, this is quite a fun episode to revisit NOW of all times. This used to be just an 'average' episode back in the day, but to see what this episode is like now, oh man, it is a lot better. It definitely just hits different now that OJ is gone for good, now I can actually properly enjoy this episode as I always wanted to. Wasn't able to before, but now I can. Honestly quite brilliant, to say the least. The point being, if you are considering revisiting this episode, please do so! You won't regret it!
