Great!
babylonianslover15 March 2021
Just saw this in my local church. Usually in these contests we see something bland and boring, but this had us all creasing.

It's SO obvious to me that this was made as a joke, and it nailed it. From the intro scene to the end of the grave scene - ill be honest - i was SERIOUSLY worried that this was just a bad short movie like most of the ones we see. But the minute I heard Evil Jayden's 'HA, HA!', I knew it was gonna be great.

I've never actually seen the original film. I know nothing about it. All i do know is that this had us roaring, and I'm glad that we should be seeing more from Jayden. Loved it.

A wonderful film to watch at a wedding

I was at my sisters wedding and they put this on, at first I thought this was going to be a bad cinematic viewing. But as soon as the second act kicked in I knew I was in for something special.

The cast did amazing in this film and brought to life the twists in a amazing way, when Alfie gave the news on the phone my heart started beating.

Overall, amazing movie for weddings, would recommend!

Pretty Good.

I didnt expect to see this on here but it is, and wanted to give my thoughts.

Its pretty good. Funny, to the point and ironic. Gotta enjoy that.

Didn't really understand why Alfie and Keira were in it, they don't do too much. Apparently there's another coming so im hoping to see more from them. Overall, a fun watch. Check if your church has it and if not, its probably avaliable online somewhere.

profound !

The film was going pretty well, it was funny in some parts i guess. Then i heard a satisfactory 'bonk' sound effect being used as evil jayden met his demise to a stick.

This sound effect was so profound and innovative that whoever created must be swimming in riches and the fulfilment in having the genius to create such a beautiful thing.

It had the whole squad laughing, and i finally felt that my friends were satisfied with one of my life decisions, that sound effect saved my friendships.

Thankyou to the einstein that decided to put it in, thankyou.

A Relatively Funny Spinoff.

Warning: Spoilers
The idea for this frenzy of a movie was essentially to pay homage to the original Movie Jayden made way back in 2016. Should we be rating it from that standpoint, then I believe it did its job. Extremely well, at that.

The film (if you can even call it that) retains the original's charm but has a clear difference in production quality, this one seemingly *purposely* bad rather than its predecessor, which was a rough attempt at filmmaking by an 11 year old. Literally.

However, personally I enjoyed Tries 2 very much. The plot was understandable, the music was well chosen, the shots were as badly filmed as the first one, and Jayden's ironic sense of humor really shows.

One issue I had was the lack of character development. It isn't explained who Evil Jayden is, nor his exact objective. It is explained that he was the one who sent the Game characters in the original, and that his intentions were to kill Jayden. The reasoning is unknown.

Jayden plays himself, so if youve watched his YouTube you'll likely understand his character. Alex was nicely portrayed as a returning hero, with his attitude to the film remaining as bleak as the first. As it goes, I freakin' love Alex.

Alfie and Keira - the new characters - appear only to exist as filler or plot progression. The end of the movie has an end credit scene which could lead us to believe these two could appear in the recently announced (if perhaps unnecessary) third entry.

Overall, Tries 2 is a fun blast from the rather embarrassing past for Jayden Tries. If you haven't seen the 2016 entry you may wanna watch it before this one. These movies can only be enjoyable ironically, but in a way that's what makes them unique.

An absolute banger of a film, I'll be watching this with my grandchildren in 60 years. The cinematography was absolutely splendid and the acting was incredible. If I was to be part of any film it would be this one. You will never find a better film. My only issue is that Alfie seems a bit disinterested at points. I will have this playing at my funeral.

MAD!!

Loved the second entry. I mentioned in my review for Tries 1 that i really like these films, and there's good reason for that.

Jayden somehow makes such dumb ideas and plots really work, and this keeps that idea in motion. It's not as disallowed as Tries 1, which I like. It never feels at all prolonged or buying time, it just gives you a fun time and ends. Really excited for Bate for Zero. Gonna go see it when it releases near me. Been told its much longer, which I see as a good thing, but I do worry it'll be *too* long. Either way, high hopes, and Tries 2 was a treat.

PS - Alfie is my favourite character for no reason at all. What a guy. What a total legend.

Transparent storyline, saw the end from a mile away. Bad acting and awful directing. Not suitable for children even though his main audience is children. Disappointment
