A young woman, whose husband was killed in war, is threatened by phone by a man who asks her seven thousand dollars. If not her little daughter might be slaughtered. So, our poor lead asks for help to the police. And the FBI investigates. You have here the little message in which the FBI man tells the woman that G men are also human beings and not only machines and computers...This is definitely not a drama but a pretty enjoyable little thriller. But I am astonished about the other woman - the evil one - calling the police from her own apartment to speak about the little girl. So dumb... Not a masterpiece but a very entertaining little time waster. Look out for Peter Graves in one of his earliest roles.
