  Zarm : General, even the smallest country can wage a war on the environment.

• Zarm : Better to foul a beach than to allow a city to foul our entire nation with treason.

• Zarm : [Baz fires a flare into the oil-well]  Well done, General Baz, just the way I like my sea-scapes - very well-done.

  [laughs] 

• Zarm : General - lower Pasiva Dam.

  Baz : Sir, that will destroy the forest! Lives could be lost!

  Zarm : Yours will *surely* be lost if you disobey my orders!

• Zarm : Well, well, Planeteers. What intriguing rings you wear.

  Kwame : They will be useless to you, Morgar. You do not understand their power.

  Zarm : That's where you're wrong, Kwame.

  [leave Morgar's body] 

  Zarm : I know exactly how to use them.

  Linka : Zarm!

  Wheeler : ZARM? What're you doing here?

  Zarm : You might say I'm the brains of this operation.

  Linka : What about Morgar?

  Zarm : Ha! The Supreme Commander? Just a body. Or, more precisely, a *no*body. He wanted to be a dictator. I helped him take over the country, and, who knows, maybe even the world.

• Zarm : [his followern chain the Planeteers in a flooding cell, except Gi who is in a cell above them]  Look how they do my bidding, eh? They follow me because, deep down, humans *love* destruction.

  Gi : You're wrong!

  Ma-Ti : Well, if I am, you tell me where that ring is. Otherwise, you can watch the demise of your friends.

  Ma-Ti : Do not tell him, Gi!

  Zarm : How ironic that the first to slip under the water will be little Ma-Ti.

• Zarm : The fifth ring, General?

  Baz : First, I want to know the truth. Does this magnificent Zarm really exist?

  Zarm : I exist.

  [stepping away from Morgar's body] 

  Zarm : And you would make a better host for me than that sniveling Morgar. You could rule the world.

  [as Kwame steals the rings from Morgar's hand] 

  Zarm : What do you say?

  Kwame : We say - Let our powers combine!

  [tosses the others their rings] 

• Morgar : The army! They've deserted us! What do we do?

  Zarm : You can go to jail for your crimes, or you can seal yourself in your fully-stocked bomb-shelter and live out the rest of your miserable life.

  Morgar : [triggers a hidden button in the wall, boards the elevator]  Aren't you coming?

  Zarm : Sorry, Captain Morgar. I'm done with your damage.

• [last lines] 

  Zarm : Resign? Over a few toxic spills? Let me guide you. Together, we'll run this nation with an iron fist.

  Dictator : But what if there is opposition? I am not popular in the countryside.

  [gasps as Zarm enters his body] 

  Zarm : Then I have a little strategy. I call it Scorched Earth.

  [laughs, then gasps as a light appears] 

  Zarm : Gaia!

  Gaia : Don't get too comfortable, Zarm. Wherever your destructive ideas emerge, the Planeteers will be there to stop them.
