Warning: Spoilers
The Buelles go on a week-end ski trip and Kay Buell trips on a loose rung in the lobby and breaks her leg. Herb offers to help them sue the resort for being careless. The In-Laws haggle over the fee. The son-in-law offers a compromise.

This is one of the few sit-Com's to have a lawyer in the cast and here in the late 1960's they are years ahead in bringing liability suits. As is usual by the time the 30 minutes are up, everybody has broken something through accidents. Thankfully all the accidents are off camera, a concession to the fact that this is shot in front of a live audience.

The acting chemistry of the cast brings this one off quite well.

Don't make your in-laws your attorney. You won't have a leg to stand on.

Warning: Spoilers
After Kay breaks her leg in a hotel lobby while on a skiing trip with Roger, Jerry and Suzie, Herb agrees to be her attorney in her lawsuit against the hotel. Of course, Roger has a measly $25 attorney fee in mind while Herb's intended fee is so much more. They eventually agree on 30%, but while re-enacting Kay's accident, Eve ends up breaking her leg as well. They are left alone in Eve's bedroom while Herb is up at the ski lodge negotiating the case, and while watching a scary movie, Meanwhile, Jerry and Suzie return from skiing when Suzie gets a cold, and after sneaking into her parent's home, scares the bajeebers out of the two helpless women, who in retrospect because their wacky ways, can do more harm being helpless than being completely well.

Amusing episode which greatly utilizes sound effects, some of them directly from the old horror movie they were watching as part of the action in the house afterwards. Herbert Rudley looks very funny with his Frankenstein's monster like leg, and there's a twist involving Roger that unfortunate falls flat as the episode nears its conclusion. It is the first time here where Jerry refers to Eve as "Mother Hubbard" although the script insinuates that it had been mentioned before. The episode pretty much just utilizes two sets: the Hubbard's living room and bedroom, which means that it ends up being pretty set based and a bit stagnant. Thanks to Arden and Ballard's talents, their big scene watching the old movie is made better thanks to their funny line readings.
