A new opening theme is introduced, in which Tippy Walker and Barbara Rush are included for the first time.
When in her hospital room while speaking to Jill, Susan alludes to The Wizard of Oz when she calls herself the Witch of the North. She is actually citing the wrong witch. In L. Frank Baum's novel, the witches from the North and South were the good witches. The wicked witches were from the East and the West. Susan is planning revenge against Jill, when it is Susan herself who did all the terrible things in the Winter household. Therefore, she should not be comparing herself to the Witch of the North.
