Wonderful conclusion.

I am hugely surprised by the relatively average score for the concluding episode. For me, this was the best episode of the series, thoroughly enjoyed this, a real mix of tension, humour, suspense and some big surprises.

I played out many scenarios in my mind, I'm not sure I expected this outcome, but what was done, was done incredibly well.

The did he or didn't he moment had me on the edge of my seat, I was captivated. I liked that we were given proper resolutions, it seems to make a nice change, so many shows have vague endings.

Superbly acted, I can't pick a standout, I thought everyone shone here.

9/10.

Warning: Spoilers
The previous episode very much gave the game away as to whether it was Rob who pushed his wife down the stairs.

Unless it was the product of an unreliable narrative. The final episode was more about Jo asserting herself in front of her errant husband and children.

Rob is willing to gaslight her to the very end but he eventually runs out of gas.

Jo also pieces together some uncomfortable truths about her own father.

The series was not that enthralling and Connie Nielsen's casting was more to do with co production partners. She was no match for Eccleston.
