Jimmy Bates, the blond friend of Bud, usually played the role of Claude. In this episode, he was listed on the credits as Kippy, who was usually played by Paul Wallace. In the episode, Jimmy Bates has not one line of dialogue, and his character's name is not spoken or mentioned at all in the story-line. Jimmy Bates made his first appearance as Claude in Jim, the Tyrant (1956). Paul Wallace made his first appearance as Kippy in Bud, the Wallflower (1956). Therefore, since Jimmy Bates had appeared as Claude before, he should have been listed as Claude, not Kippy in the closing credits once again.
The play Betty is rehearsing is William Shakespeare's "As You Like It." She is reading the part of Rosiland when Kathy interrupts her: Act 3, Scene 2.
