  [Red Hood throws a red spade into Cyclone's head, destroying it] 

  Red Hood : Who's broken now, Cyclone?

  [opening a breach and throwing a red spade in] 

  Red Hood : Good. It made it to the other side. Dimensional wave is holding steady.

  [hearing something and looking around] 

  Red Hood : Huh? Which is more than I can say for my nerves.

  Owlman : You'd have to be crazy not to be nervous.

  Blue Bowman : With all of us after you.

  Silver Cyclone : Declaration: hand us the phase oscillator, or force will be required.

  Red Hood : Oh, I believe force will definitely be required.

• Red Hood : Please tell me there are more of you on the other world.

  Batman : Lots.

• Batman : Red Hood, change in plans. I'm coming to you. But I need directions.

  Red Hood : I'll tell you whatever I can.

  Silver Cyclone : Yes, you will.

  Batman : I'm in a long, curving corridor on the 50th floor, northeast sector.

  Silver Cyclone : What was your plan to defeat us?

  Red Hood : There were just five steps left. But then you found me, and the plan went south.

  Batman : Five steps to the left, then turn south. Got it.

  Red Hood : And not just south. We're talking right into a huge mess.

• Batman : You started something today: a brave, bold new era in crime-fighting.

  Red Hood : Whoever he is, I hope my counterpart on your world will have a chance to repay you.

  Batman : Somehow, that seems unlikely.

• Silver Cyclone : Proclamation: before our plan is set in motion, you will tell us if you left any surprises for us in this other world.

  Red Hood : What? Don't like surprises?

  [getting electrocuted, he laughs] 

  Red Hood : It tickles.

  Silver Cyclone : Observation: your spirit is stronger than most humans. Even when we found your hideout in the Ace Chemical Plant, you fought valiantly. Ultimately, it was a futile gesture.

  Red Hood : [in flashback, getting dropped into a vat of chemicals]  No. No. No!

  Silver Cyclone : But your psyche, though bent, did not break when faced with horrible disfigurement. You even managed to rally a pathetic ragtag group of heroes in a final stand against the Injustice Syndicate. And then, when all your allies fell, you still believed that you could somehow save this world. But all humans can be broken, and I intend to break you.

  [he electrocutes Red Hood again] 

  Silver Cyclone : Interrogative: tell me what you know.

  Batman : [over Hood's earpiece]  Stay strong, soldier. The fate of both our worlds hangs in the balance. But if he wants you to talk, then talk.

  Red Hood : Just tell me what you want from me.

  Silver Cyclone : Excellent.

• Batman : [posing as Owlman]  Stay down or they'll kill you. I'm here to help.

  Red Hood : You? Help me? Is that some kind of sick joke?

  Batman : [showing him the red spade]  It's what you invited me here for, isn't it?

  Red Hood : You're from the parallel world.

  Batman : [nodding and giving him an earbud]  Here, put this on. It's a bat-communicator.

  Red Hood : [removing his hood]  Beware, I'm not much to look at.
