E! Mysteries & Scandals: Hollywood Ghosts (1998)
Mark Wanamaker (author), Laurie Jacobson (author), Dr. Berry Taff (parapsychologist), Eugene Hilchey, J.D. Kessler (Roosevelt Hotel historian), Argus Hamilton (comedian) and Todd Hughes (Silverflake historian) are on hand to discuss several famous hauntings in Hollywood.
This is actually one of the better episodes in the series, although it's probably going to appeal to fans of the supernatural more than those of the series. There are some terrific legends talked about here including the suicide of Jean Harlow's husband Paul Bern, which was always suspicious but the tale here includes him warning Sharon Tate days before her murder. We also learn about a haunting at Raleigh Studios, Thomas Ince haunting his old studio, the Roosevelt Hotel, The Comedy Store and Crestmont, which is said to be haunted by Antonio and Daisy Moreno.
The only bad thing about this episode is that all of these stories are crammed into 21 minutes. I'd argue that a couple of them should have gotten a full episode but there's no question that this is a highly entertaining episode that has some terrific stories that will have the hair on your arms standing up.
