Franz Eckert , an ex police commissioner has met Rolf Herzog to tell him tht his son Johannes died recently: a fall of 30 meters into a ravine. Franz things that it was not accident, but a murder and he asks Rolf to help him in his investigation. After a night in the village Rolf is looking for Franz and finds his corpse in his kitchen: muder by poisoning. The investigation goes slowly: the team finds some elements (illegal activities of Georg and Karl): besides there is the young Tobias who looks very sad about the death of his teacher.
