Jemima continues to search for the truth, only now she comes face to face with the black nun, who makes their demands very clear, the whereabouts of the missing will.
What has struck me, is just how quickly the previous five episodes flashed by, they seemed to take no time at all, they truly were that enjoyable. Everything about this worked, and considering its age and format, it has never at any point felt slow.
The killer's identity came as a surprise to me, there are a couple of clues that you can look out for, but it was unexpected.
Somewhat odd to see Jemima taking up the role of Damsel in distress, not the part she's had at any time, was she the hero of the piece, or someone else?
I loved that tense and exciting ending, it really was edge of the seat viewing. Definitely more of those nightmarish scenes here, I bet this caused a few sleepless nights.
Maria Aitken, James Laurenson and Susan Engel were all marvellous.
The Lord works in mysterious ways.
9/10.
