It's no secret that Justin Moore, the Academy of Country Music's reigning new artist of the year, loves his hometown. The singer's memories of growing up in Poyen, Arkansas, inspired his first No. 1 hit, "Small Town USA," and the tiny town, population 290, also had a starring role in the tune's music video. Moore - who recorded his newest single, a remake of "Home Sweet Home" featuring Vince Neil (check out the video below) for a collaborative tribute album to Mötley Crüe, out Aug. 19 - has chosen Poyen, once again, to serve as the backdrop for another important project: raising his family,...

We've got to hand it to you, X Factor, you've certainly been keeping us on our toes this season. For two weeks, Fox advertised that the live shows would start November 1st. Then, in a head-scratching act of self-sabotage, the network decided at the last minute to launch them a day early. You know, on Halloween night, when people are more focused on candy and costumes, and just two days after "Frankenstorm" hit the east coast. Now, network execs are probably sitting around wondering why ratings keep plummeting.

Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in a Las Vegas court on Monday. The 'Home Sweet Home' singer was arrested in March following an allegedly violent row with former girlfriend Alicia Jacobs at the Las Vegas Hilton. Last week, Neil agreed to accept a plea deal in his misdemeanor disorderly conduct case in order to avoid a possible one-year jail sentence. Neil was not present during Monday's hearing, but was represented by his attorney Richard Schonfeld. The (more)...

Tonight we've got the second set of semifinalists vying for a spot in the Top 10 on "America's Got Talent." Let's see how they did ...
1. The Kinetic King
This was definitely his best yet. Unlike last time, which was really slow, this one was crazy fast, with lots of things flying into the air. I still don't think he should advance because, as I've said, he's not right for this show. But good for him.
2. Fatally Unique
They're going with an asylum theme this week - trying to get the West Springfield voters? It's a good routine, lots of freaky movements and a couple good stunts. They aren't going to win this show, but they could certainly be part of a tour full of the Top 10. We'll have to see how the rest of the night shakes out. They might advance.
3. Landon Swank

Rocker Vince Neil has been released from jail after serving just 10 days of his 15-day sentence for a DUI charge. The Motley Crue star began his punishment on February 15, just days after celebrating his 50th birthday, after pleading guilty to the count, which stemmed from a 2010 arrest, last month.
But he walked free from Clark County Detention Center in Nevada on Friday, February 25, reports TMZ.com. Neil will spend the next 15 days under house arrest as part of his sentence. The singer recently hit out at the punishment, insisting the judge overseeing his case was "a little harsh" and wanted to "make an example" out of him.
"My great day just got even Better!! He's finally Home!," his girlfriend, Ksnv-tv entertainment report Alicia Jacobs, exclaimed via Twitter. "@Thevinceneil just walked in the front door of his home! Home Sweet Home!!"...

With the Home Run Derby and the Celebrity Softball Challenge out of the way, there is only one thing left to do, and that's play the 2010 Major League Baseball All Star Game. The match-up between the best players from the American League and the elite athletes from the National League is always an entertaining outing, and probably the best and liveliest all star game in any major sport. Perhaps that is because there is actually something at stake: The winning league gets home field advantage during the World Series in October.
The National League has gone winless in its last 13 tries (they have gone 0-12-1 in that span), but this year's squad might be the one to push them over the top. The main reason is because of their pitching, as the National League features sharp hurlers like Ubaldo Jimenez, Tim Lincecum, Tim Hudson, Roy Halladay and Yovani Gallardo...

I am coming right out and saying this episode of Glee is the best episode since the mid-season finale Sectionals. The sixteenth episode of season one titled Home features a lot of solos from some of other cast members specifically Kurt and Mercedes whose talent is recognizable on the show but sometimes outshined by the leads. This episode not only brought them the spotlight but touch on a lot of deep issues with the characters such as family, teen pressures of perfection and lables, but most of all it explained the thing that makes us who we are out Home, our family.
In the episode which was written by Murphy and again proves he knows how to handle the characters in the series with balance and emotion. Following the “Power of Madonna” where we explored a lot of depth and emotion and most of all the idea of equality. This...

The Hot Tub Time Machine soundtrack. That mere title alone is so communicative of both the tone and ambition of this new John Cusack-toplined comedy that the simple sight of those four little words is all you need in order to make the call as to whether you want to see the movie or whether you think it likely to be as seismic a catastrophe for modern cinema as Michael Haneke slipping while getting out of the shower and fatally cracking his skull on the Palme d’Or he keeps on the shelf behind the toilet. Essentially it would appear that Steve Pink’s film is the episode of Family Guy where Peter and Brian journey back to the ‘80s and piss off the chicken while simultaneously inventing Rick Astley, only elongated to feature length and with Chevy Chase’s hot tub repairman supplanting the Grim Reaper as gatekeeper...

Remember the Good Ol’ Days? That period of time in your past when everything seems to have been better. You felt better, looked better and had a better haircut. A time when you had momentum. Some people call them The Glory Days. But these Days will pass you by (so goes the song) and you are left with nothing but fond memories. The new comedy, “Hot Tube Time Machine”, explores the thought that if you were able to go back to the “best days of your life” you might not like what is waiting there. It’s easy to forget that that gorgeous girlfriend that was lost not only broke your heart but also stabbed you in your eye with a fork.
“Hot Tub Time Machine” (the most literal title since “Three Men and a Little Lady”) is the story of four friends that haven’t been having the easiest of times.

The season's first "American Idol" eliminations are in the books, and now Tyler Grady, Janell Wheeler, Ashley Rodriguez and Joe Munoz will have to pursue their dreams of pop stardom on their own. All of the eliminations seemed to make sense (though Tim Urban was arguably worse than Grady) and each one was accompanied by an "Idol" tradition: The exit song.
This season, Will Young's "Leave Right Now" is the tune that will send fallen "Idol" contestants back to the real world. Considering the title and the fact that Young is a former "Pop Idol" winner in the U.K., it's a logical fit (even though it was big on the British charts all the way back in 2003). However, when played over the exit montages last night, it sounded simultaneously harsh and dour, especially considering the chorus: "I think I better leave right now/ Before I fall any deeper...

Photo by Paul BrownWhile listening to Mötley Crüe’s just-released Greatest Hits album—their fifth, if you’re counting—you should expect to experience a wide range of seemingly conflicting emotions. During the first few cuts, you’ll likely be smirking. “Seriously?” you’ll wonder aloud. “Does anybody over the age of 16 enjoy glam cock rock anymore? Even ironically?” But somewhere around the middle of “Shout at the Devil,” you may catch yourself smiling, as the song makes you think about that kid in the fifth grade who drew pentagrams on his notebooks and taught you how to make rock horns. You’ll hum along to “Smokin’ In The Boys Room,” not because you like the song, necessarily, but because the melody was drilled into your brain back when MTV still played videos. And then “Home Sweet Home” kicks in, and you’ll be like “Oh my god, I totally remember that video,...

Rose has already stepped in for Lee on the tour, which runs through September 2, starting last Friday (August 14). And appreciative Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx took to his MySpace page to say that Rose "came charging in like a knight in shining armor."
Lee hurt his left thumb and forefinger in the accident, but, with his hands in bandages, still managed to play piano for part of the show, on the songs "Home Sweet Home" and "Girls, Girls, Girls."

Video footage from "American Idol" finale featuring Carrie Underwood's live appearance has just been put out. Wearing black outfit, the winner of the Idol season four delivered a cover version of Motley Crue's 1985 track "Home Sweet Home", which serves as this season's farewell song.
Prior to her performance, the Idol remaining contestants Kris Allen and Adam Lambert sang for the judges and the audience. Adam sang Tears for Fears' "Mad World" and Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come", while Kris performed Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine" and Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On". Ryan Seacrest said it best at the top of the show: Tuesday night's (May 19) final "American Idol" performance episode was the decisive showdown between "the acoustic rocker versus the glam rocker ... Conway versus California ... the guy next door versus the guyliner."
And when Adam Lambert and Kris Allen came down the center stairs, the difference couldn't have been clearer. Lambert was rocking a black leather jacket, tight black jeans, black fingerless gloves and a black shirt accented by a long silver scarf-looking necklace, while Allen went the James Dean route with a more modestly cut black leather jacket, blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
With three songs each, Lambert, 27, opened the night reprising his acclaimed cover of Tears for Fears' "Mad World." Looking comfortable on a fog-enshrouded stage that must have...

"American Idol" final this week (May 19 & 20) will be the battle of Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. But not less interesting is the guest stars performance on the show. Just a day before the show, Ryan Seacrest reveals the two-day "American Idol" final performers.
It was written in Ryan Seacrest's website that the performers are including Lionel Richie, Carlos Santana, Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, David Cook, and Carrie Underwood. As reported before, Carrie's rep has confirmed that the four-time Grammy winner will perform on Tuesday night. She will sing this year's farewell song, her cover of Motley Crue's metal ballad, "Home Sweet Home".
To MTV, an "Idol" spokesperson informed that other performers, beside Carrie, will show up on the result show on Wednesday. The top 10 idols will also appear among the stars as they have been back in Hollywood rehearsing for the big show.

Going into Tuesday night's (May 19) final "American Idol" singing round, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert feel pretty loose and confident about their chances.
Looking chummy and seeming relatively relaxed amid the typically chaotic final days of "Idol" madness, the two singers perched on stools Monday afternoon for a press conference, during which they talked about their chances, what impact religion might have on the final outcome and how they're dealing with the pressure. Both, however, remained coy about what songs they would sing in their bid to become this season's champ.
