- Yuri Honjo finds herself in a world filled by Masks and composed just by skyscrapers connected to one another with rope bridges and there is no way to go to the ground. What will she do? There will be a way out?
- Yuri finds herself on a skyscraper rooftop and she can't calls her parents. Luckily for her she has an income call from her brother, Rika. He explains to her the basics of the world in which she awakes. It is real, not a dream. Every stares that goes from some floor to the ground one are sealed and there are no lifts, so there is no way out of the buildings. The buildings are connected with rope bridges. There are the so called Masks: people wearing strange masks, a smiling one. They want people to be drive by despair and make them commit suicide by jumping. After witnessing an example of the latter characteristic of this world, Yuri and his brother try to find out where Yuri is, using a specific, and quite particular, building. But right while they are talking Yuri is attacked by a Mask, loosing her phone. She wisely decides to run away, across a rope bridge. But the Mask keeps chasing her and also reaching her on the new rooftop. Luckily a police officer saves her, shooting at the Mask. There is also a second police officer that reaches them and finally Yuri can take a relief breath since she is no more alone. The second police officer pushes the first one out of the rooftop, he wants to take the opportunity being alone with a high school girl. This time she is saved by a sniper Mask who shots at the lecherous police officer. She comprehends that Masks induces to kill yourself, but if you don't show intentions to do it they will kill you. After plundering the officer corpse, Yuri burns it in order to try to obstruct the sniper view (he has got a Yuri's photo with a quote from her: "To my big brother"). Right when she is ready to flee the spot and run away from the sniper, another Mask comes on the rooftop on which she is, jumping from another near rooftop. After trying to shoot at her, Yuri decides to jump and, talking to the new Mask, she jumps. Since Masks check if the one that jumped is really dead, Yuri exploits this characteristic, she knew that there were a terrace at a lower floor on the side of the building, and jumping on it from above she waits the Mask checking for her corpse. That's the perfect moment to shoot at the Mask. Coming back to the rooftop, Yuri sees the Mask still alive, but now the mask is seriously damaged and under that she sees a human face. Yuri tries to talk to her, but the Mask tells her to not get closer, or she will kill her since she is still under the control of the mask, doing what the Command tells her to do. She also tells Yuri to never look at the back of the masks before jumping. With all this new knowledge Yuri comprehends that the real enemy are not the Masks, but is who gives them the Commands. She founds a backpack full of supplies and with a gun. How it gets there? There wasn't before, while she was fighting with the Maid Mask.
While she is crossing a rope bridge, Yuri sees an helicopter and rinks to fall down.
Entering in a new building she finds a dead body with a paper in a pocket, on it there is a message: "Routine Helicopter Service We regularly operate an exit service via helicopter. If you wish to exit this realm or wish to return to the ground, please head to the depot. The maximum capacity is one person." So Yuri decides to go there, even if there is the possibility that it is a trap. Right after taking this decision Yuri sees a man begging for mercy to someone that shoots him before. She will save him from the Masks that is shooting to him just to find out that is not a Mask who shots him, is a girl.
