Quotes

  • Comm 7 : London seems to possess one of the highest rats and mouse populations in the world. It's really tough to survive in London especially if you start at the bottom end. No one cares if you're in the gutter; you're always all alone in this world. Most people would think you deserve it. You are either born one way or another: rich or poor. People who are poor remain poor and people who are rich remain rich and neither the twain shall meet.

  • Comm 7 : I have been Watching the Fast Decline of the Human Race. It was all an extremely agonising learning curve and when I had finally succeeded in knowing everything I wanted to know, I witnessed the true decline of the human race and of course, mine included.

  • Comm 7 : In spite of countless trips abroad and I have actually lived and paid my taxes in many other countries, I came back to London for more. Some places were Heaven but I seem to have preferred Hell.

  • Comm 7 : Decades later, I realised that London and perhaps Britain as a whole is an oversaturated jungle, not a shit hole as the legions of homeless would like to describe it.

  • Comm 7 : There are six main pollutants caused by traffic emissions in London. BENZENE: No safe level. Causes cancer and poses a long-term risk of leukaemia. BUTADIENE: No safe levels and linked with cancers of the bone marrow, and lymphomas. NITROGEN DIOXIDE: can cause lung damage and increases risk of respiratory infection in children. OZONE: Impairs lung function, and increases sensitivity to allergens in those susceptible. PM10s: Tiny particles deposited in the lungs linked to heart and respiratory disease and may be responsible for thousands of deaths of vulnerable group.

  • Comm 7 : Civil Service is a system that keeps people employed and always has been. Any civil duty or filing can be and is self-serving-and ought to have always been this way. The nation must be in control by itself. One nation is only best served by oneself. The overall control comes from the good functioning of society and not hatred for the oppressors. Civil Servants know this very well and they live in constant fear of losing their job. Their stubborn arrogance emanates from their insecurity. It's so transparent that when confronted with the scale of the damage created, they are transfigured with fears. They are the victims of this unscrupulous system; we all are.

  • Comm 7 : The most common problem with NIC -National Insurance Contributions-contributions are for historical contributions lost and gaps in state pension contributions. The problem is unlikely to be resolved as HMRC is refusing to even acknowledge the problem but the problem is unlikely to come from the staff but a system that is too archaic to function. Although the staff routinely use a "change in the law" to justify anything but "changes in the law " do not work in this way and there is a miscomprehension but it is true that tax laws are unstable since they could change on a quarterly basis.

  • Comm 7 : Can these youngsters stop fiddling on their mobile phones? Stop erasing the past: it's one thing NOT being bona fide, NOT being recognised but at least do not delete my past achievements?

  • Comm 7 : When the bomb exploded in my ears, it triggered a massive explosion of tinnitus. A permanent disability that will live with me for the rest of my life. Of course, it's not the same violence that people have been forced to live inside the Islamic Republic but it is still extremely violent.

  • Comm 7 : I called my bank. I always ask where the call centre is based. The person who answered me could only be described as aggressive. He was called Mohammed, then again during that period they were all called that way; such a noble name. He told me. The town was in ISIS occupied Syria when ISIS was a functioning economy and some banks switched their call centre wherever in the world. Half way through a painful process of engagement what can be described -from hearing- as an explosion occurred in the background. The guy told me: "I have to go", then hang up.

  • Comm 7 : You do not sign up to open a bank account in Britain -and allegedly regulated- and end up at the mercy of an IRIS fighter or terrorist! I should have sued the bank but it would have been too costly: "All phones are monitored for quality assurance", mine included!.

  • Comm 7 : Last year, some disgruntled taxpayers managed to place the entire database of Civil Servants -the state workers- on the Dark Web with the total indifference from the government. If disgruntled taxpayers can get hold of a private address, then the Civil Servants can be very vulnerable to direct prosecution.

  • Comm 7 : In the UK, any complaints unresolved Tier3 Complaints must be filed with the Adjudicator and the problem is the Regulators are poorly trained and are from HMRC, so it is one-sided. The Adjudicator like many HMRC officers can be wrong as it is far from being a perfect science. When everything is failing, the advice is to write to a Member of parliament, MP in the hope that the case will be raised in Parliament. So basically, there is no Regulator to regulate the Adjudicator. No regulator to regulate the Regulator.

  • Comm 7 : All letters received un-opened are routinely destroyed after 28 days and to avoid a huge backlog already in place. The most complaints against HMRC are for the National Insurance contributions and the NIC tops the list with the most unanswered complaints or complaints that are going nowhere.

  • Comm 7 : Working from home represents a major conflict of interest as the husband, wife, partner or indeed the civil servant could potentially access any data.
