... because even though it is just the first installment it doesn't really delve into many important questions. Why did Mia Farrow find it necessary to hoard children? What about Woody paying child support for Ronan when Mia has claimed he is Frank Sinatra's biological child? Did she say that just to hurt Woody, since Frank's wife has said that at the time of Ronan's conception Frank was bedridden and constantly attended by nurses and physicians? I can't give Mia points for wielding her own child - Ronan - as a weapon. For sure, Dylan believes that something bad happened to her. Is she remembering what happened or what she was told happened or a combination of the two? Moses has recanted the bad things he said about his dad. I don't think that was mentioned.
On the other side - It was pretty creepy for Woody to cheat on Mia with her own daughter, one that he had known since she was a child and he had been a pseudo parental figure to. I say that as a person with four stepchildren who has never been in a true parental role - their mother is alive and well. So I know what it is like to be "pseudo parental". Woody has lived on the Upper East Side for decades. Living in that kind of bubble makes people weird, but then his weirdness is why he was such a good storyteller. Mia was raised in Hollywood in her own kind of bubble - daughter of a famous actress mother and famous director father.
On the whole this is not good two sided investigative journalism. My heart goes out to the Previn/Farrow kids. It appears they were raised by narcissists.
