Keep on surprising us!

Have to admit I only started watching for the Jared content, I stayed cos the story had me intrigued and now I am invested in these characters, the story and the actors who make up this cast! Walker has totally surprised me by not being just a vehicle to utilize Padalecki's SPN fans to bring the ratings. The storyline and air time for the other characters is just as important and fleshes out this show beautifully. The cast is a brilliant mix of veteran character actors and fresh young talent that I can't wait to see more of. Can't wait for more and so pleased that the second season is already a done deal.

yanked me around

Warning: Spoilers
This episode had so many moments that got a physical reaction from me! First of all, it was AMAZING to see Hoyt back, he's probably my second favorite character! I'm not the biggest fan of this love triangle, but I think that's the point. It was so painful to see Geri reject Hoyt.... really interested in where that's going next. It's nice to see a well balanced episode of the best character storylines. Liam is good, Micki and Trey are so sweet, and Cordell... what's NOT up with him? Very intriguing and I like not having a "case" episode.

Waiting to see how this unfolds

I liked the parts that didn't make me reflect too deeply on the teen romance (histrionic, makes Stella look foolish) and/or the love triangle (where I still have unanswered feelings about betrayal and loyalty, esp from Geri.)

The regular action, however, was good.

The writing and plotting made time fly.

Abeline is a hero and I want to know more about what will happen with Liam after just those few lines.

My heart right now is with Hoyt and with hoping no one gets shot in next week's episode! So will I watch to see how this unfolds? Yes.

Hanging in, hoping they'll keep on with the things I love and "resolve" the CW drama/soapy parts I don't. #FingersCrossed.

I keep saying that, but the show keeps getting better and better. I think this was the best episode so far. Probably until next week.

R & M 2021

Trevor and Stella need to read Romeo and Juliette before proceeding with their relationship, kinda get where that is going to go. Walker as a dad is still trying to get it right...give yourself a break already! Hoyt is freaking hapless, helpless and needy... we get why Walkers mom loves him so much.

Their Acting Choices are Super, Getting Better!!

Warning: Spoilers
Especially the last scene with Stella and Walker's angsty fiery discourse, but it's the upside down versione of 101 and 102 where Walker was the sinner, 'cuz this time Stella obviously disappointed and worried dad. Man... That line 'Let's just get hell home' touched right inside my heart.

I also loved that the writers gave decent backstory to Twyla Jean that she was not just a blonde pretty young chick Cordell cheated on, making love with for escape, but she had her own story and the emotions between Twyla and Duke was genuine in some degrees as much as she felt the familial bond with the Rodeo Kings members.

Wasted hour

This should be daytime tv and aired with the other soap operas. I miss the original. In comparison, the reboot, in my opinion is boring awful.
