The episode features a twist on Rosalind, but the show lacks originality. The character arcs are formulaic and well-planned, with Bloom playing a crucial role in stopping Blood Witches and saving the world. The romance is simple and not well-developed. However, the show seems to be on the verge of a significant fight between Blood Witches and fairies, hinting at a dramatic second half. The show's overall quality remains to be seen. In Episode 3 of Fate: The Winx Saga Season 2, Sky notices Silva in the school and apologizes for the damage caused. However, Sky tells him to leave and never come back. Silva meets Andreas and asks how he found him. Rosalind appears and takes him to the East Wing, which is not part of the escape plan. The Academy is preparing for the upcoming Alumni Banquet, where important Alfea grads will be present. Bloom and Aisha are shopping for the event, as part of Aisha's 20-point plan to become headmistress. They also meet Sebastian, who suggests breaking Saul Silva out of the East Wing during the banquet. They deduce this is where the other Fairies are being kept, which could work in Bloom and the other fairies' favor. Rosalind's position as headmistress is tentative, but orchestrating a bad night would be the perfect incentive to ensure their plan is successful. The night is divided into two events, which are explained through Stella's exposition. The mixer is for alums and students, while the banquet is for alums and VIPs. Stella is a VIP even without her mother's attendance. Bloom decides to enter the East Wing herself to avoid suspicions. Grey and Aisha still have angst, but Musa confides in Grey that Aisha is into him. Musa discovers a vial of Eldwyn Amalgam and a syringe in Sam's bag, which Sam plans to use to revenge on Rosalind. Sam leaves, but Musa admits she's been taking his anger away for weeks, unaware of its impact on him. When Sam discovers this, he demands she stay away. At the banquet, Rosalind takes Bloom as a star pupil, making her look better. Bloom is thrown into the firing line by meeting big names in the magic world, and everything is on a precarious knife edge. Stella's father appears drunk and berates several of her friends, including Sky and Bloom. Rosalind gives Bloom a pep-talk, pointing out that she's a special fairy and on her side, even though she knows Bloom was the one who busted Silva out originally. Flora and Aisha head off together, discussing their feelings for Grey. They stumble into an abandoned lab and into the path of a horrible creature. The creature pounces at Aisha, but she tries to channel her magic and stops it. The creature appears behind Aisha and tries to ambush her. Aisha manages to catch it in mid-air, smashing it with a vial and taking a picture as evidence. The duo scramble back to the main chambers, where Bloom has changed her mind and decides to believe Rosalind. Stella, blinded by her fame, takes the initiative and decides to oust Rosalind in front of everyone. Musa talks to Ben about their relationship and leaves Alfea with his father, who can't teach anymore after the incident. Rosalind, who has researched ancient creatures called Scrapers, reveals that they are being called upon by a Blood Witch to steal their magic. Rosalind warns that if they continue, fairy magic could disappear completely. Stella and the others are applauded for their vigilante nature, but they are quickly ushered away. Except for Bloom, who remains, who is presented as the fabled fairy who holds the Dragon Flame. Rosalind speaks to Bloom and admits she's pardoned Silva, deciding they need to work together to stop the Blood Witches before it's too late. As the episode closes, Beatrix is attacked by several Scrapers outside the academy grounds.
