As a writer for Dutch horror site Nachtvlinders and extra on this movie I was excited to get one of the first views. Filmed in my small town, it effectively situates the 'outsider in countryside´ trope of movies like Wrong Turn and Deliverance in the Netherlands. Three days of filming resulted in a fast-paced short film with a nice and shocking twist ending. Arie Compen shines in a creepy role, delivering his lines in the local dialect with a lot of underlying menace. Jamie Grant is convincing as a city girl feeling clueless in an area she doesn't understand. The night shots are done quite nicely, with just enough lighting to keep the atmosphere mysterious without obscuring important details.
