- Jack's daughter's boyfriend disappears soon after he moves from Chicago to New York to be with her. Samantha struggles with a complication in her home life, and Danny and Elena prepare for their wedding.
- Jack Malone and the agents investigate the disappearance of 18 year-old Shay Hanson, his daughter Hanna's boyfriend. Jack hands the case off to Samantha. Shay has been in town for two weeks, living in a hotel in Queens but he hasn't been there lately. He spent most of his days in the park with other artists sketching but had recently sold his much-loved car for less than its full value and obviously needed money. The investigation reveals that one of Shay's good friends, Charlie Wilkins, was the victim of a hit and run in Chicago not long before he left for New York.—garykmcd
- Jack furiously finds his daughter Hannah secretly sees her unapproved boyfriend from Chicago, artistically gifted car mechanic Shay Hanson (18), who went missing in Queens two weeks after arrival. The gentle knave was beaten and neglected by his father. The team learns from the park portrait artists he worked with about a dodgy man who probably dragged the penniless boy into crime and that Shay wired money after the death of his Chicago mate, her teen son Charlie Wilkens, who died in a car incident, involving a third buddy and key witness. Meanwhile Samantha finds son Finn's recovering father a natural at parenting the cutie.—KGF Vissers
