A very slow paced and poetic episode today. Deals with a lot of stuff for Vivy regarding losing the ability to fulfill her mission and the like. Would be intense to lose the reason you existed for, but she held out hope due to the Singularity Project only to be shot down on that as well. The desperation and excitement in her voice when saw Matsumoto finally was rough as well. She was so hopeful to have a purpose once more only to be told it was over. The whole thing with that little boy was so cute as well! Had no idea he'd be the one to grow up into the scientist that sends Matsumoto back in time. Overall the episode does a really good job of lifting Vivy out of the depths she was stuck in and gives her a way to find a new purpose once more. The ending however rips all of that away as we're thrown right back into the thick of it, though to be expected with how many major alterations still occurred. Really interested to see where they take it with the remaining 3 episodes considering how many possibilities there are for endings, continuations, etc. Was very happy with the episode though, really nice pacing and story through it.
