Sex & Nudity

- Few kissing scenes between couples.
- A teen boy and a teen girl lie in bed sleeping together.
- Women wear low-cut tops and dresses that reveal cleavage in several scenes.
- The only scene of nudity in the film is when a teenage cheerleader bounces on a trampoline and exposes her bare butt briefly to her boyfriend. Lasts for maybe a second, hard to notice.
Violence & Gore

- This movie has lots of blood and a bit of gore to come with it, but at most times it isn't too overly gruesome.
- A man in a turkey costume is suddenly decapitated in a parade, lots of blood is shown spurting from his neck stump. Very bloody and gory.
- A woman gets stabbed in the ears by a pair of corn holders, blood is shown on the holders and on her bloody hands. Later, she is thrown onto a buzzsaw and her fingers are sliced off (briefly seen) as well as being disemboweled with lots of blood and intestines spraying from her body.
- The killer crashes a car into a dumpster and causes the lid to shut on a woman, cutting her in half. This looks extremely unrealistic in comparison to the other deaths in this film.
- A man's neck is broken and his head is shown twisted around.
- A man is stabbed with a carving knife and mild blood is seen, although it looks very fake; a wire is then wrapped around his neck and pulled until his head is sliced off, blood is shown spraying.
- A victim's face is pressed against freezing metal, forcing them to tear their skin to escape.
- The violence in this film is extremely brutal, graphic and at times mean-spirited and aggressive.
- A cheerleader is stabbed in the foot while bouncing on a trampoline by a knife that exits through the bottom of the fabric. She gets sliced multiple times.
- A man driving a truck during the parade gets his head pierced by the boat bowsprit from behind (very graphic and bloody)
- In the beginning of the movie, a man slices his neck on the broken glass pane of an automatic door to a store. He is later seen stumbling around while bleeding from his neck wound.
- Throughout the movie, the killer threatens to cut 2 character's throats.
- A character is stabbed in the shoulder with an axe.
- At a party scene, a man throws up outside. Later in the film during the dinner scene, another man throws up while having his mouth gagged.
- The killer charges a man with an axe and misses. The man runs away from the killer but the killer eventually overpowers him and decapitates him off screen. We see the killer swing the axe down multiple times and blood sprays on a window and on the killer. The severed head is later shown covered in blood.
- Most of the violence and gore looks unrealistic but some do look realistic.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Intense content and many jumpscares throughout.
- A fairly intense flashback takes place at RightMart where a mob starts a riot and some bloody images are shown in glances.
- People are hunted, terrorised and attacked by a sadistic masked killer.
- The general design of Carver's look is very frightening in general.
- There's a scene where it seems like the killer might murder a cat. He doesn't.

Violence & Gore
- A man is pushed by a crowd against a glass shard that cuts his neck and causes him to bleed out, a man is crushed by a door and trampled to death, and a woman is brutally killed by two shopping carts.
- Near the end, a main character's head is placed on a table and they are repeatedly bashed in the head with a meat tenderizer; their brains are shown splattering out of their head, which is cracked open. Very brutal and graphic.
- There is a very intense chase sequence that ends with the victim bound and placed into an oven, where they burn to death as their skin melts off. Very uncomfortable and disturbing.
- A woman's head is violently smashed between two shopping carts, this is very brutal. Her hair gets caught in a wheel and when the cart moves, part of her scalp is ripped off.
- The woman who was cooked alive is served at the table and a piece of her skin is cut up like a turkey (it can be both disturbing and nauseating).
- The killer plunges a corkscrew into the victim's neck and pours her blood into a wine glass.
- A woman running from the killer has a pitchfork thrown into her back like a spear.
- Shows a girls fingers get sliced up by a buzzsaw.
- A boys hand is severely crushed.
- In the beginning of the movie, in the Black Friday riot, a character starts getting trampled and eventually a person steps on his arm and breaks it.
- A woman is placed in an oven and a tempature gage for meat is stabbed into her shoulder. Later in the movie we see her decapitated head and she is served as a turkey with her legs tied in the air.
- A man is decapitated with a wire, bloody.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Shows John Carver using a marinade and seasoning on a woman's body before starting to cook her alive.
- A teenage girl is attacked by the killer and chased throughout her school.
- A few of the main characters are bound and placed around a Thanksgiving table along with some dead bodies.
